JA: there is a significance to the peer review process, yes
yes

standards for scientific validity...yes.

that depends, the validity comes after you get published in the historical sense.

(forgive me mods in the sky: this man is very sneaky and oily)its not personal I don't know him. It is obvious. He is not oily for Jose's sake or ICA but his own. :yuck:

That .. umm .. *click click* .. that well, *click click* .. umm that de **click click**pends ...

WTH? Someone take that clickin pen away from JB and give him something productive to do, like .. read a law book ....

HHJBP is loving this. When he is interested in what is going on he turns his chair to face the witness.

What do want to bet he offered his students A's if they could come up with what he needed for Baez? I bet the one that just finished their research got an A plus.

And they cite Vass!!!! Ahahahahahahaha! That is awesome!

I just wish they would get finished with him ....

Me too...
I stepped away to wash the floors...Mr Clean with Febreeze..
I checked the label ...No Chlorine Bleach or Ammonia....No Phosphates

My house does smell very nice

I don't know why, but it has never ocurred to me how much an attorney needs to know about science to be effective. It really very impressive.

If JA doesn't have a minor degree in some sort of science, he should be awarded one.

JB - not so much.

So he was trying to find protocols to use?? He's an expert on protocol yet he didn't have them handy??

This guy needs to just step down, hang his head in shame, and RUN!!!!!!!!!!!!

wonder if JAC gets a refund for his testimony as an expert??????:waitasec:

Both Furton and his students cite Dr Vass.

Case closed. Go home. G'bye, Dr Furton. Thanks for spinning the wheel.

Even the court reporter loves this stuff! I love the way she sort of smiled when doing the readback.

If I didn't know better, I think HHJP is getting a lil chuckle outta this cross examination, Baez trying to behave. ;)

It must feel really creepy being a hired gun for a baby killer.....accused baby killer....really, really creepy crawly

JA is showing this guy respect. Why can't JB do that?

You have to see that the method can be repeated. Witness says.

Yes. The scientific method makes clear for something to be scientific the experiment must be shown to be able to be repeated under normal conditions by anyone attempting to repeat the experiment.

Everyone takes a ball and lets it fall to the ground and enough people can do that and all agree it is a "reality" not just a science fact.

He's doing it to tick off LDB but she's not biting.

Bringing over from the session this morning:

It appears LDB asked Jose to stop clicking his pen (it is irritating and distracting and this is a MURDER trial). After she asked him, he did it even more then turned back to look at her to give her that usual smirk. Jose has the mental maturity of his client and shares the same moral compass. IMO

Starting at the 14:08 mark.
