Clearly I am living under a rock.

Whew... I feel so much better after climbing out.

That said......let's consider the new atty that was named as a consultant and who did an interview with TRU TV...Jennifer Berringer??? Was on the Spektor defense team.

She'd be replacing........... hmmmmmmmmmmm?

LKB has already filed for withdrawal, it was at one of the hearings and Mr Ashton said he liked working with her and ICA looked pissed off with the comment...lol

Yeah, that was long time ago.

**IF** it's CM requesting this divorce from the DT, what can he say to convince Judge Perry? He's got 3 or 4 other ~prominent~ cases going on. If he's trying to claim health reasons, he'd have to claim the same for the other cases, no? Can he seriously claim that the other cases need his attention, when most of them were taken on after he accepted his position on the Casey Defense Team?

I was leaning towards Dotty, but now I'm tipping towards CM if I can figure out what excuse he might use.

As he should. It should make no difference how he "feels" about his client's guilt. Not his job as a defense attorney to worry or comment on her guilt. It was a dumb question to be asked.
If reporters are going to report on these cases, they should ask relevant questions.

:twocents:
This was his commentary about Casey before he became a member of the DT.

Wasn't sim's employed solely to cross examine expert witnesses?

Think her job is done?

She too stupidest to be mean.

You know I posted about a week or two weeks ago that I thought the DT would pull a stunt and CM will leave due to medical reasons...but I thought it would be on the eve of the trial and this stunt was put into play in hopes to delay the trial.

Now with the budget crunch, I'm wondering if this DT didn't read my post and decide to go with it. LOL I know, giving myself way to much credit here but this DT has been one slimy tacky team.

RHornsby just answered a comment on his blog that "100 to 1 it is Dorothy Sims." Richard's got a good track record for his opinions coming to pass.

Casey Anthony, Esq.

After hearing HHJP chastised JB and JA at Friday's hearing, she was afraid he might just put her in jail for realz, after he found out her law degree wasn't quite on the up and up.
Now since she plans on leaving her grand suite at OCJ come June (when her RV will be really ya know), she has decided to withdraw as appointed counsel.

MAYBE... the Bar has finally had enough of JB's BS and they demanded him to step away from the "plate".

ICA is officially stepping down?

CM has seen how things are going and the way this is headed, given ICA's testimony and Frye and decided to focus on his other more 'fun' priorities?

Most likely, DS realized this is not her best showcase, given Frye and does not want to self destruct her reputation any further at trial .. Let JB sink the ship single handedly?

At first when I saw the news I thought, rut roh, Jose's in trouble ... maybe the Florida Bar caught up with him ? Then I thought .. nah ... he's gotten away with his less than ethical dealings so far and nothings been done to him ...
I still think the only way out of it for any of them is for KC to fire them .. JMO
Could something have come out of DC's depo?

I'm going to say Cheney Mason. I don't know why? I just think he may be trying to salvage whatever is left of his reputation. He seems more detached than Casey at the table and that is saying a lot. I also don't think he likes Casey that much? JMO!

He doesn't seem to be having much "fun" IMO, and he and Casey seem to have a little strain between them. Maybe she fired him."
...and the original attorney did file for withdrawal, right? I am so confused as to who it could be...I'm still leaning toward DS, but she wasn't appointed...unless they mean by Casey.

And since she did such a credible job (NOT) on the stand, she's replacing herself with Cindy?
