He's in for now

IS reports that this is a white male in his 20's.

Casey would love this guy. She can flirt with him

  • #644
Anyone have a current count on how many coming back for more questioning?

  • #645
Hhhm...That last guy was much too eager to be on the jury JMO

I am puzzled by HHJP's eye lid today. He must be tired, because the droop is far more profound than yesterday.

That's his fake eye I think.

Speaking of the guy whose wife can't do any yard work, is anyone else cutting procrastination deals with themselves to get stuff done? I've got to finish laying a patio in the back yard, and just agreed to give myself the morning to watch this, and will start working at the lunch recess. And then I promised myself I'll work until dark. (Anyone have any ideas what I can tell my husband when he comes home today and it's STILL not done??)

transient trigeminal neuralgia

Sorry - yes I play a couple of games with myself: "Five Minutes" and "10 things"

How much can I do in 5 min (dishwasher laundry started or folded etc.) and What 10 things can i pick up put away or throw away

What a flippin process. All the better to get the best jurors possible. It is amazing the hardships people face on a day to day basis. I am so lucky...I feel so bad for these folks that have hardships. Life can be so rude.

Pastor cannot be gone for 6-8 weeks, Bless him.

Do we really need to make fun of the jurors? All we're hearing are brief snippets about them. These people are just ordinary citizens who have been thrown into this case.

I don't see where anyone has. We are just discussing them and how they would/would not impact things.

Does anyone else believe that ALL these jurors truly will not get paid? Is anyone double checking them?

I'm in Missouri, but EVERY employer I've ever worked for - full or part time - has ALWAYS paid for jury duty days. Some required that our jury money be turned over to the company, some did not, but ALL paid me. I never had to take vacation or PTO days either.

I don't get it.

It's not mandated under federal law - Florida law does not require an employer to pay - someone cited the statute yesterday

You could "throw your back out"

Feeling the back pain now...

Hmmm...associate pastor. That could be interesting.

Where are all the females and retired people?

So sorry about your child. I am a single, divorced mom as well...it irritates me too when I hear people say oh my spouse can't get along without me or vice versa. Well, one of you will have to eventually be it death or divorce! C'mon!

I have always been an independent type of woman and have never waited on a man to do things for me. I still stubbornly do all I can do, I have a severe back injury but I figure out how to do things differently and they do eventually get done. I don't have any patience at all for helpless women.

We have a friend with an eyelid like this, he is very self concious about it. Why do so many comment on this mans eyes? It offends me.

I think a lot of people don't realize that he has a prosthetic eye.

At first, I thought he had suffered a stroke at some time. After reading the article about him, and learning about his injury at age 6...it made sense.

I do notice when he is tired that it does tend to droop a little more...just like we all get "tired eyes".

I don't think anyone means anything offensive by their comments. I think that if they don't know about his prosthesis that they worry about it being a sign of an impending stroke or similar.
