I'm On CNN and I can't hear the attorneys speaking. Anyone else having this problem? It was fine before they lowered the voice on Mics.

You can thank JB for that. The DT were disturbed that their "private" conversations at the defense table was being heard by the public so the microphones were turned off. Yes...................I know.

1207: Hardship? yes it would. I have two young children. without my income I would not be able to pay the bills.

HHJP: your employer would not pay you?

correct.

HHJP: you would not be able to meet your rent or mortgage payment...

yes sir.

HHJP: any other reasons?

excused.

We should all send a one word post it to JB's office, GUILTY!!!
Maybe he will get the message and she will take a plea deal knowing she isn't going to walk away from this.........and then my nerves can settle down.

Speaking of the guy whose wife can't do any yard work, is anyone else cutting procrastination deals with themselves to get stuff done? I've got to finish laying a patio in the back yard, and just agreed to give myself the morning to watch this, and will start working at the lunch recess. And then I promised myself I'll work until dark. (Anyone have any ideas what I can tell my husband when he comes home today and it's STILL not done??)

You ran into some nasty fire ants and you had to water them down and then wait for them to move out of the area. OR.......you overdid it and suffered heat exhaustion and had to take a break to rest.

I am puzzled by HHJP's eye lid today. He must be tired, because the droop is far more profound than yesterday.

Do you know his eye is fake?

DT is going to let go anyone with small children I suspect.

Candlelit dinner and sexy lingerie and he won't even remember there is a patio.

Yes, I'm making chore deals with myself here, too.

We have a friend with an eyelid like this, he is very self concious about it. Why do so many comment on this mans eyes? It offends me.

another guy. no hardship. work pays for time off.

Another young man. no hardship. no medical issues.

  • #635
Do we really need to make fun of the jurors? All we're hearing are brief snippets about them. These people are just ordinary citizens who have been thrown into this case.

Does anyone else believe that ALL these jurors truly will not get paid? Is anyone double checking them?

I'm in Missouri, but EVERY employer I've ever worked for - full or part time - has ALWAYS paid for jury duty days. Some required that our jury money be turned over to the company, some did not, but ALL paid me. I never had to take vacation or PTO days either.

I don't get it.
