He needs to be let go by the Judge....for "lack of understanding" he is struggling way too much..
To me personally I would like to see her get..... life in prison...that way she can think and DREAM about what shes done for a long, long time.

OMG Defense has no questions!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you God, thank you God, thank you God!!

  • #143
doesn't think he is the one to make the final decision about the DP - God makes final judgement

WHAT!? What about our Caylee?! She didn't deserve death and ICA is farthest from God. Ohhhh my. So mad that I have to be at work 8-5 M-F. Vacation is calling.

No questions from the defense......................

I think valuable time is being wasted on this guy. I do not believe he should be on this jury. Just IMO.

  • #146
Well on the plus side AF didn't question him...Praise the Lord for that one!:great:

  • #147
No questions from AF. Thank goodness!!!!

  • #148
Back, did I miss anything good since lunch?

  • #149
I hope they make this quick.

  • #150
I think they have to becareful not to pressure him - because if he forcefully agrees to the DP now and then later hangs the jury - that is not a good thing.

  • #151
Ashton trying it again - you take an oath as a juror to follow the law, the question is are you able to follow that. So taking all these things into consideration would you truly be able to consider the death penalty. Yes, I could. Mr. Ashton - Thank you Sir. The defense - no questions! Moving on to mitigation phase per HHJP and innocence - burden of proof etc.

His extreme hesitation before answering is the same as answering NO- he says he can put aside his religious philosphy if it contrasted with what the law directed him to do.
Don't believe him... but it is nice to hear JA asking thoughtful questions in an intelligent and articulate manner. Nice change from JB.
Hope they strike this man. He will never go with DP for a young woman unless she killed his family....

he would be great on the jury moooo

he knows nothing about the case

also DP doesn't have to be 100% for Casey to get the needle

  • #154
Having everything on the record for appeal purposes is just a HUGE waste of time IMO

General voir dire, LDB up

  • #155
I pity the person who ever has to ask this man, "What would you like for dinner?"

:giggle:

  • #156
I"m sure JB would love him to be on the jury. I have real doubts if he could vote for the DP should she be found guilty.

  • #157
of course the defense will not question - he is good for their side.

  • #158
I think Linda can relax him and get what she needs out of him.

Notice her voice and tone have shifted from the last juror.

  • #159
has a four year old little girl

Keep in mind - during the penalty phase deciding LWOP v. DP - a unanimous vote is NOT required. Only a simple majority (7). A tie of 6 each would be a LWOP verdict.
