If this were not such a serious subject, this could be a great drinking game. So many words to choose...I think I'd go with "Mitigating"

Im in for a shot everytime we hear the word helicopter :great:

His extreme hesitation before answering is the same as answering NO- he says he can put aside his religious philosphy if it contrasted with what the law directed him to do.
Don't believe him... but it is nice to hear JA asking thoughtful questions in an intelligent and articulate manner. Nice change from JB.
Hope they strike this man. He will never go with DP for a young woman unless she killed his family....

which in turn....we all know the Anthonys have forgiven her, so no he won't be for a DP

I think they have to becareful not to pressure him - because if he forcefully agrees to the DP now and then later hangs the jury - that is not a good thing.

Sorry, im no expert...but what happens if ONE, just one, person decides they can can come to a decision?? Does this later hang the jury? And a hung jury means...another trial?

WOW! LDB actually smacked her hands down on the podium in frustration when he asked "What do you mean?" regarding would he want the media to contact him after the trial.

First time I've seen that! :O

Works for the county, IT

If the PJ fill out a questionaire, why couldn't that questionaire include questions about their ability to serve (hardships, health, etc), and their views on the DP. That would streamline this process.

HHJP had said himself that an answer on a questionaire is likely to change with enough prodding and rephrasing.

Kind of like a personality test for new hires....they ask the same 7-10 questions in about 100 different ways to uncover consistencies and inconsistencies.

Sorry - got behind in my LDB comments - been sitting here chuckling to myself - picturing the DT doing mental high-fives until LDB asked this guy about children - a boy at nine and a four year old daughter.

Rut Roh.....LOL

This guy sounds very nice but he is confusing the heck out of me with his answers!

Public speaking? This guy? Come on now:floorlaugh:

It has taken three questions to elicit his occupation!
Works on computers. Not familiar with any forensics as r/t computers.
Now is becoming irritating, he repeats her questions back at her as if they were alien. LDB_How much time do you spend on a computer when you're not at work?
He states that back to her like it's beyond his comprehension! Strange...
Wife is a Nurse.

Lived with only mom. single mom. 1 bro; 1 sis. moved out mom's home at, he thinks, 22 yrs old.

They all have to find her guilty of 1st degree murder. But they do not all have to vote for death.

Someone correct me if I am wrong. If the jury can't all agree to find her guilty then the juty is hung and the trial will have to be tried again is the state can afford it - correct?
