IMO, although AF questions are boring at this point, this is the most important part of picking a juror, as it gives us some insight of how each juror feels when it comes down to the DP or Life.
I agree Miss Patty.. it does however make me want to slit my wrist with a butter knife LOL

As an RN, I was thinking the same things you were when they accepted them.

No one is really accepted as yet...they just have not used their strikes yet.

jb did get upset the other day (please don't ask me which--they are a blur)--about how many medical people are on the potential jurior list...he mentioned it at some point...they don't like it

Because they took an oath to "first, do no harm".

Is it just me or does AF sound so defeated at this point??

Nope. Not just you. Just like yesterday, it seems as if they keep saying, "Yep, we know she is guilty, but there are really good reasons why she did it."

PJ is not for "eye for an eye, tooth for a tooth."

I have to admit, when AF questioned the first juror regarding DP, mitigation etc., I was lost for a bit. By the second juror, I totally understood what she is talking about. I also feel she changed how she questions the juror because this is all new to them.

AAAhhhhh a new word. Mercy.

  • #609
AF - mercy question on this specific case was new

  • #610
age is not a mitigating factor to this guy

lack of maturity isn't either

  • #611
AF - would you consider lack of maturity as a mitigating factor?
PJ - no

  • #612
*cry* I can't take AF's questioning anymore. Someone save me!

  • #613
Would NOT consider age or lack of maturity as a mitigating circumstance.

  • #614
How many left after this juror?

  • #615
Nope. Not just you. Just like yesterday, it seems as if they keep saying, "Yep, we know she is guilty, but there are really good reasons why she did it."

Yes, like self-defense! :floorlaugh::floorlaugh::floorlaugh:

  • #616
He's out. He's not buying the mitigating circumstances.

  • #617
says age does not matter - and lack of maturity - Judge thinks he doesn't understand the question.

  • #618
I'm weary of hearing this attorney say, "Does that make sense"?

Does that make sense??

  • #619
I like this guy!!!

Do they really think that 23 is considered too young to know right from wrong? What is up with the age question? KC is not a juvenile and this is not Juvy Court.
