Re; last dismissed juror. Florida is a pretty active DP state...how can they not have a better, more cost-effective way to weed out the jurors who absolutely cannot consider the death penalty to the extent of not even being able to find for guilt, prior to day 6?

I find that to be a big huge waste of time and money.

i'd travel from oregon and I just can't figure out if I'd lie to get on, like many have, imo, or not.

I agree with a few previous posters...I don't necessarily think HHJP is trying to talk them OUT of their views, just trying to ask and rephrase the questions so he knows that there is NO confusion on what he is asking, and making sure their answers are certain and clear, for the record. He doesn't want any problems/questions to arise later about why they were excused. CYA is what I'm thinking...not that he is desperate. Just my two cents
