Does anyone else get the impression that the State would rather not have her?

The DUI thing... we run into it at work a lot. So many people have them now; is it a reason not to hire someone? Tough call with that.

If she is the one who is diabetic, it might have been some kind of insulin problem. I am not a nurse, but maybe one of you "is one", and can elucidate?

Depends, for me. If it happened a long time ago and their record has been clean ever since, I'd hire the person.

Oh no not another DUI!

She was not convicted of it tho..and that was 1998..like 13 years ago..so no record....BTW I am so glad JA did NOT parade a Picture of her regarding that arrest...Thankful for small mercies :innocent:

I think the state will motion to strike because of her DUI/not disclosing it up front. They've done it with jurors in the past.

Omg...son arrested for writing a bad check...Strike Strike!

Um...didn't JB write a couple of those at one time...most parents would not condone that in their child...I don't think that is a reason to strike IMO but..

She was on a jury just recently?? Last few years?? She knows about answering questions on a questionaire.

Testify AGAINST themsleves!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OOOOPPPPS

JB asking her "Who are you?" She doesn't really know what he wants. She says, "Well I'm retired."

Did serve jury duty before, wasn't the floor person.

My take is - She doesn't have a big ego, has had a full life of experiences, has raised children, has been exposed to some legal issues. Capable of understanding things and she is an independent thinker. I think she's fine for this job.

I wonder if JB can answer how many years our constitution has been written, better than many many years? UGH

OMG...undisclosed DUI....sigh and I was so hopeful..

Wonder what the mistaken dui arrest was.

I am thinking medication issue maybe or an accident and she thrown off or in shock and they thought she was drunk ??

  • #1,834
She served on a jury for a criminal case before...guess they accepted her...shrug

Since that was a mistaken ID or somin, I think it because of her son and grandson having records.

I got nailed for a jaywalking charge in Jacksonville years ago (and yes JSO cops do love to get people for it). Guess that also disqualify me as well

BIG OOPS by Mr Baez!

The defendant may never be required to take the stand against themselves.

WOW.

I could honestly answer that yes I could say I would have mercy on ICA, with out batting an eye.As soon as she is sentenced to death, I would ask GD to have mercy on her sole.:innocent:

I too would ask GD to have mercy on her soul, what I was refering to is the juror. Wouldn't the juror who would sentence her to LWOP be having mercy on her by not sentencing her to death? That is what I am asking. Her ultimate sentence will come from a higher place weather or not she is found innocent or guilty in this courtroom.

I can see how someone may think she had been drinkin'. Just sayin' :innocent:
