After this case Country and Western is going to coin a new dance called the SIDEBAR.

LOL
Keep them coming - it's the only thing that is getting me through this

He has a job
He's going to school to be a teacher.

I like him.

Way too many off topic conversations going on. Let's get back on topic of the juror selections etc.

I apologize Miss Patty G. I will try to control my frustration level without commenting on what I am going to do about it.

Surely there's a relevant question coming up here...right Mr. Baez?

  • #1,365
I want to know if this PJ has any siblings.

Here is my problem with this line of questioning that I think the SA was objecting to is that JB is giving a 'lecture' type thing before asking the actual question. This is what is taking so long.

I personally believe the SA will be using their first strike on this PJ though.

He wanted the drunk that hit his car stopped by the police. He likes the security guards at work. He seems to believe in the laws of our society. He personally sounds very responsible and hard working. He's young, but I think he's bright and honest. I think I want him on the jury.

Hmm... No way she is going to testify. Basing that opinion on JB's questioning.

  • #1,369
come on come on.... let us have 11

HI SH,

Were you here the day the pj said he watched NG's show about YO Hand Vandersloot? :floorlaugh:

:seeya: back. Sure was. Made me laugh!

  • #1,371
do you guys think they will get to another one before the day ends?

I think they will go to ,at least 5 pm, so possibly, especially if they are close.

  • #1,372
Power went off. :(

  • #1,373
I think George was irritated that Baez was giving the PJ a primer on reasonable doubt and what the judge will instruct him on...looks like the judge let Baez go on...

  • #1,374
Did Jose say Mr. 101?

  • #1,375
State does not want him, due to his tweets. Victim of a crime.

CJBP says that is a stretch.

  • #1,376
What's that big old book Baez has?

Jury Selection for <Unusual Persons>?

  • #1,377
Just as I predicted the SA is using a strike.

  • #1,378
Oh please! That's a terrible reason to strike...and I personally would not know that that would be a victim of a crime.

  • #1,379
Judge says Mr. George's cause to strike is "a stretch".

  • #1,380
Judge Perry is harder on the State....dang.
