I believe it is not that it is wrong amysmom - it just isn't right if that makes sense. Also, HHJP said he will leave one day in between finishing the jury selection and beginning opening statements. Thursday was a guesstimate on the part of that news report.
I think the only news outlet that I saw reporting when trial will start was Orlando Sentinel. One article said the court issued a statement that the judge said he will give jurors one day off before starting the trial. What I found interesting is that I could not find (as of last night) anyone else reporting this.

Does it bug anyone else how ICA sits there making notes all the time. It's like she thinks she's the secretary on a legal team, not the defendant!

I've seen a few English trials (I'm a Brit) but I have yet to see one where the defendant sat writing the whole time. JMO.

Bugs the heck out of me but probably it's to keep her occupied, stop her twitching and stop her from giving everyone the stink eye.

I know I'd be concerned if Casey Anthony had all my details cos this girl doesn't like to be thwarted.

That's a great point. She is a convicted felon - I certainly would not want her to see ANY information about me. :maddening:

Judge I'd like to move that this juror be removed for cause. Not only did she fail to laugh at my lame, recycled jokes, but she looked right at my pocket square. I think she is hiding an opinion about my client based on her hidden feelings about my pocket square.

As you know Judge, much has been made..... quite frankly to my amazement about my style. It's all over the media.

Trust me Judge...you couldn't see the way she was staring at it, but ....she did not approve.

In a case this serious I don't think it is worth taking a chance.

Maybe the DT realized that bad publicity RB was bringing them.

Have you noticed SOTS that ICA has begun using really child like actions? Like the way she is holding that pen? That's the way a four year old holds a pen, before they actually learn to write.:waitasec:

Oh, LG...I am so glad you mentioned that...She puts all her fingers on the pen...all of them....I know I only use 3......she is weird in every way...:giggle:

Observing Ms. Anthony's entries & exits in and out of the courtroom, it would behoove her to alter her jovial demeanor - I do not think a juror/jury will be impressed by this. She really needs to cut the "touchy-feely" stuff.

I noticed this the first time she was ever shown writing (I was raised by my Grandmother - a First Grade Schoolteacher for 30 years). I kept thinking that is why her hands were cramping and she kept having to stretch them out)

Back in the courtroom - up to immediate sidebar
