I already feel bad for this juror, because in general voire dere, she will be questioned heavily about her sons "not always angels" remark...IMO

There are lot of people as of now on the jury I do not think will reccomend death.

I don't mind LWOP - miserable all the same. Most folks on Death Row are never executed anyway. Man, Richard Ramirez is still hanging out up there.

It's not so much 'age' as it is maturity.

ITA. However, she's about my 14 year-old's emotional age but so far my dd hasn't killed her dog and stuffed her in a trunk because she was barking too much!

I loved when she said she will try to get other Jurors to see things her way. lol

If she does get through, what's the prediction on who the DT will strike next?

I can't believe the DT will be this niaieve to the situation.

They must know that as soon as they use up their strikes the prosecution has carte blanche to start, effectively, making up the jury.

If they have any sense (and at least AF has selected DP juries before and CM should have also) then they will know to stop striking before they have used them all up and they have a reasonably favourable jury pool to themselves (at which point the SA may start using their strikes).

I suppose however, if this jury selection method hasn't been used before (i.e. JP seeking to swear the jury as soon as 12 have been found to force the parties hands to to use a PE) then they might not be wise to this. However, AF should have enough sense

PJ says she would try to sway the other jurors in favor of whatever her opinion was.

Says media should "def. not" influence her opinion.

All this time & the DT will want her gone, she's too logical & sensible! AND, this snorting & sniffling is very irritating!

Just the fact that she can admit it is telling;) It's a beautiful thing.

There are lot of people as of now on the jury I do not think will reccomend death.

If I understand correctly, the jury will provide a recommendation to CJBP as to penalty, but he can depart from that recommendation if he sees fit. So they could vote 7-5 for LWOP and he could impose death anyway.

Says she is "in the middle" on the DP.

IDK how you can be in the middle. I agree with the PJ who said you are either for it or against it. You can't "unkill" someone so how can you be in the middle about it? KWIM?

you're right.... but on her scale I'd still call myself a 1 or 2 because it is a rare case that I think warrants the DP.

I agree. I'm sure they are busily Googling her sons at this moment trying to find "dirt."
