2011.05.17 Jury Selection DAY EIGHT (Afternoon Session)

The Juror feels bad about the whole situation, which she cannot put aside (her feelings). She believes her feelings would affect her ability to render a verdict against KC. She said honestly, she's been praying for KC (her voice cracked) and prays for mercy for her. Doesn't want to be a part of this.

KC starts to tear up, nose getting red. Paying rapt attention now.

Aside: Odd that she had no similar reaction when PJ's were mentionig Caylee's "corpse" or being "discarded".

SA is challenging this PJ.

Unfortunately I don't think any juror would be able reason with her. She has her mind made up and her opinions are based on religion. It is the most unlikely reason for a juror to change their mind and go against their religious beliefs.

Perhaps JBP doens't realize how heavily religious beliefs mean to people.
