It realllllllly irritates me (to no end) how they all refer to ICA as Ms. Anthony, and little Caylee as 'the child'. :(

Judge has said the jurors will be given money for laundry machines.
I know dang it...maybe I could shrink all my clothes in the coin laundry mat therefore state would have to buy me new clothes. :great:

Personally I think this guy was the most honest I've heard. I think you can try not to take into consideration what you've heard before, but how do you "unhear" it?

How do you know if you're weighing evidence against that backdrop?

It's a dilemma - it's almost impossible to find a jury who has never heard anything, but I think it's a real challenge.
Up next...3015

ITA, so I wish they would stop trying and focus on people who can try to be fair. I believe at this point......some of these folks are lying.

I agree with her statement - there's so many missing children that you kind of get hardened to the fact. Isn't that the truth??? I like her.

JB changed his style he no longer asked May I call you Ms. Juror #.....lol ...lol. maybe somebody told him this is getting old JB.

Also this juror seems much more reserved that first time in the chair.

Statement about so many missing children ...she has a point ..I wonder how SA will react to that statement.

I seriously DON'T believe anyone who says they don't have an opinion about this case or about Casey's guilt or innocence. It's human nature to form an opinion. It's the first thing you do when you hear any information - form an opinion about it. Sheeh.

leading the pj, there JB

Recalls only that a child was missing. Heard nothing about KC in relation to that at that time.

Heard about KC being arrested in regard to her child. Nothing else.

No opinion, because there are so many missing children "you get hardened".

Heard that the body was found, there was testing being done, and that they confirmed it was Caylee. Nothing else that she recalls, formed no opinion based on that. Again, because there are so many missing children stories.

Doesn't put too much weight on media reports. Says you have to apply common sense to what you hear. Doesn't pay a lot of attention to the programs because she's always busy doing other things.

Sorry folks for asking this. I'm just now popping in. Busy morning at work.

Can someone break down where we are at? How many jurors we have?

Both state and defense used their strikes to eliminate 6 PTs this morning. So we've got 11 jurors left.

Now voir dire for more jurors and alternates.

ICA just wrote "common sense", when the pj said it and put a big circle around it......

  • #180
PJ states that you have to use common sense to evaluate what you hear. I don't think this will sit well with the defense.
