Bumping for the legal debates. Threads from 2008 to present, evidence that the public is aware of in stickies at top of the Caylee forum here, debate threads everywhere too.

Laws in US and UK vary by quite a bit, so do procedures.

Let's not get the threads closed again.

May I gently suggest that we have a couple of threads already in existence where this conversation would be a better fit? Lots of good life left in this debate surely, just not for the Jury Selection thread. :tyou:

PJ married 15 yrs, blended family. 2 adult daughters. HS educated. Owns own business. 62 yrs. old. she sounds much younger. Her cousins son was murdered in Ohio, and didnt find who did it, over 20 yrs ago.

HS education, no college. She is a seamstress, does upholstery. She was a waitress before this career. She is 62 yo, had a lot of life! :) Victim of crime question, her cousin's son was murdered in OH. Never found out who did it. This was 20 years ago or so. She was already gone from OH so she wasn't really involved. Says it will not affect her service. She's lived in FL on and off, been here in FL for the past three years.

Has anyone taken a count of all The PJs that have been from OHIO....

Defense will strike her.

CM up now, general voir dire. Asks how she felt about the copters and cameras when she first came in. She didn't really notice anything until she saw the cameras and the panel and then she realized it was something big. Does not recognize any attorneys, etc.

Says she had a "flat" feeling when she saw the defendant. Kind of recognized her but not sure. Says she has heard of her but didn't recognize her. Says she didn't really look that close.

Helicopters...helicopters....helicopters...

ah yes, I forgot about those darn helicopters.

putting the cart before the helicopter.

don't cajole the helicopters in the jury room.

and if I had a ruler, with 1 being a car and 10 being a helicopter; where would you be?

" I looked at the defendant and ' I felt flat---had no emotion---felt calm.'

wth?????????????????? she sounded really nervous

Oh my what a l o n g day!
This would make me do a plea deal asap...........ICA must love this attention...........
