What's bothering me is this PJ's defensive posturing with Ms. LDB. Not liking this guy now.

I think a lot of young black men are going to have a problem with the "other" side, so to speak and personally I think LDB needs (imo) to change her tone when questioning certain jurors.

The publix guy purposely ignored judge's orders and deliberately talked to media admittedly just to get out of jury duty. This guy had a hardship, and for all we know he contacted the court. No one said he didn't contact the court. Yesterday a was called in who didn't show up OR call, and they mentioned the fact that she never contacted anyone.

I think the girl from yesterday should have been fined also.

Not only does he appear dishones, the State will have a hard time using their preemptory challenge since Baez will claim its based on race.

This juror does not appear honest. I can't believe he knows who ICA is but knows not one other thing. Something seems wrong with him and I think he wants on the jury really bad. 3 squares and a room for 2 months probably sounds good to him.

And he also knew Caylee's name

My impression is that LDB repeatedly asked him the same question as though he were lying. I kind of felt it was a little overkill, and I love her to bits.

MANY people, including myself up to a few years ago, do not follow the news whatsoever. MANY people really don't care about this case and wouldn't follow it - and haven't. As one PJ stated, it's almost dismissed as "So sad, yet another missing child" situation. Kind of a let down that society has become jaded, but it's reality for the most part.

He said he didn't have a computer or a tv.

I would have asked him if he had internet access through a personal cell phone...like my husband has.

This PT could really make some money reading for blind or audio books. His voice is so smooth and pleasant.

He doesn't ring true to me. He said several times he doesn't know anything about the case although he knew the name of the victim . Caylee. He also seemed more receptive to the Defense. IMO

Wonder what kind of phone he has? These new ones have internet AND TV on them. I just can't fathom a young person not being "connected". It just doesn't ring true to me.

Agreed. I have a young(er) employee that has no TV or computer at home but she's on cell connected to the internet ALL the time.

In all my 53 years I've learned to listen to my gut and my gut tells me this guy has been coached or he watched prior PJ being question.

Lera - I'm getting an acting vibe a la "as seen on TV" with a side of opportunity - can't say why and I hope I'm wrong

Wonder how much better JB is liking Judge Strickland now!?

Lol, I was just thinking the next motion the DT files will be a motion to withdraw the motion to recuse HHSS, along with a motion to go back in time and pretend like HHJP time never happened.

She may have, he knows nothing but knows the victims name is Caylee..hmmm

Wasn't that told when they read the charges to the PJs last week?

I think this guy is on the up and up but he might have a problem with LE, I guess that may/may not come out later.

I don't have TV - I have A TV but use it as a monitor for DVDs and streaming from internet.
I didn't like paying all that money and not finding anything I wanted to watch. I know a lot of people who have no cable TV

KC and her many moods and colors. Doesn"t make a difference what color KC wears to court. It does Not change the facts of this case and her colors won't determine the verdict.

Maybe it's just because I hang out with a lot of wacky artists, but I can think of about 5 friends off the top of my head who don't have a tv or a computer.

Also, if he can't afford gas, the computer and tv might not be at the top of his list. For all we know his money goes to rent, or to support children.I know that V and I always said that if we couldn't afford it, internet and tv would be the first things we cut.

Also, the suit could have been a priority for interviewing for jobs. Or church. Or a wedding. Or a funeral. I don't immediately discredit him. I think if he were desperately trying to get on the jury (enough to lie) then he would have FOUND a way to be here on time yesterday, since he had no idea he would be called back again today.

Just a few thoughts:)

He works in healthcare so the impression I am getting is that he works in a hospital or nursing home environment with patient rooms with tvs

Thankyou, I didn't hear what his profession was. :)
