Right - if the DT strikes this guy, which I assume they will because he is gung-ho on the DP, then we're down to 9 jurors. Who thinks we're gonna stay at 11 all day :)

MOO

Mel

If the DT strikes him, he will be out of ammo and only the SA and judge can strike.

This guy sounds almost too good to be true. Mr. Baez must be in a dilemma, only 1 strike left.

This may have been posted. I'm juggling several things and can't keep up with the posts in this thread lol.

Nancy Grace was in the courtroom for about a half hour and just left.

I'll bet she is peeved. She spent her entire show last night theorizing why court ended abruptly yesterday afternoon. I'm sure when she got there & realized it was business as usual- she was disappointed. She was unable to be in witness to the potential bombshell tonight.

He works for Verizon. A retention specialist. He tries to keep customers that are mad at them. No experience with cell phone towers or anything like that.

:giggle:

She looks like a queen sat there, surrounded by courtiers.
Are there many of us Brits watching this?

Quite a few are watching including expats like myself.

57, never married, no kids.

One brother, one sister, parents still living.

From Knoxville, TN. Moved to Pinellas because he lost his job.

Bachelors in Business Administration (I might have heard that wrong)

Wanted to be a corrections officer, got a certificate to apply. completed a program.

His brother deals with plant strains (didn't catch the technical term)

Works for Verizon now.

Wants to be a corrections officer? Might have a little knowledge of botany? Might understand phone pings? PLLLLEEEEASE let him in! haha. Bet the defense is sweating.

:)

I'm been lurking for a while, but with the drama yesterday, I just had to join. So, hello everyone!

It amazes me how much quicker the questioning of this juror is going than the ones before.

Yep, unfortunately it often seems that defendant has more rights than the victim. How wrong is that? And when they say evidence is too prejudical and is kept from being entered, that just baffles me.

can't JB has only one strike left

Right. He can use it, and always ask for more :) If he doesn't get em, he'll run out of the courtroom and file a motion to the higher court!

LOL

Mel

ETA: I am NOT an attorney, nor do I play one on TV, but from what I heard on HLN news last night In Florida if you have a death penalty case you can request more strikes. it is up to the Judge to grant them or not. I believe Judge Perry has already stated that he will give 1 extra strike for alternates. So far, neither side has requested any more.

MOO and all that.
