Is that NG in the yellow? :waitasec:
Is that NG in the back row in yellow?
I wouldn't bet on that.
Does Baez still get to question all the remaining jurors and then use his strikes?I thought that's what they decided on but I could be wrong, hard to keep up on everything.Anyone?TIA
I like the general voir dire part. I find the different life stories fascinating.
we only have 10ish left
YES! but he is doing it for the transcriber.
Or you can watch on a PS3 directly from the website.
I understand that. I wasn't expecting a full report of his activities or anything like that, but not one mention of anything happening yesterday? No apology from him from holding up jury selection, no acknowledgement of any kind that anything happened? This lawyer is known to be unethical, and now he's been given the green light to have a private matter whenever he wants to delay the trial because apparently there are no consequences for Baez that I have seen for three years yet. I'm not saying he didn't have a private matter, but if it was just a delay tactic, then it worked beautifully. I don't like seeing anyone manipulate our justice system, and I feel like that is exactly what Baez did yesterday. I sincerely hope there was no family emergency. If there was, I hope everyone is okay and no one is hurt. I don't wish any harm on anyone.
Here's hoping we finally get juror twelve, but I doubt it...
Right - if the DT strikes this guy, which I assume they will because he is gung-ho on the DP, then we're down to 9 jurors. Who thinks we're gonna stay at 11 all day
