yes me too. she has no opinion on the DP but 100% believes in it.

say what?

strike.

I believe in the DP 100%. It would be hard decision to make and it's hard to have these people think on the spot like this. She may have reasons, just couldn't come up with any at the moment. I personally think that child predators should be sentenced to death... they are basically murdering the soul of these children, but I could also recommend LWOP for someone who has committed murder. It all depends on the circumstances.

Hard to fathom I would imagine for most of the people on this forum who have lively intelligence and inquiring minds, but there truly are some people who are, in the words of Terry Gilliam, "mercifully free from the ravages of intelligence."

I am not sure exactly where I stand on the DP and I'm not "mercifully free from the ravages of intelligence." Some people who have not been in the position of having to take a stand may not have given it a great deal of forethought. Let's not be too quick to assume one's level of intelligence based on that alone.

I KNEW Mason would question this PJ

That's all I'm sayin'

How many jurors we got now?

  • #1,307
Daycare may also sink her with the DT!

I'm just getting here today. Was there any explanation for what happened yesterday with JB leaving?

  • #1,309
iirc, HHJP gave them all a $50.00/day lodging allowance during this jury selection process.

wow where could you stay for that?

  • #1,310
Yes, that was a hard one to believe wasn't it - maybe a stealth for the SA - does she sound like a WS member???:innocent:
I don't think she's stealth, personally.

Lack of critical thinking about imposing death on another human being, yet willing to endorse it - a 10, even, disturbs the hell out of me.

No computer .....yikes. Would rather have my computer than my TV but then I would not be able to watch Nancy Grace.

  • #1,312
who are you (who who - who who)

The State needs to strike the last juror (the man who was very indecisive about the DP) and move this woman up the ladder. I like her!

please explain how she says she has no opinion on the DP but believes in it absolutely, on the AF scale, a 10?

you understand that?

Gone!!

Pets are for the canine testimony

the others are for the evidence against her with the computer stuff

I understand the concept, but just come out and ask about service dogs. That's fine. Pets are another story.

She's a very "old fashioned lady." She enjoys being around people. She's friendly. Her kids think she is a great mom. One grandchild who is 2 and lives in TN.

I like her!

I don't know names yet, but this attorney (defense) would intimiadate me somewhat as a juror. And if I feel intimatdated I get mad.

Grandchild - Age 2
