What you will learn is these compounds are consistent with a decompositional event occurring in trunk of car, possibly of human remains. Dr. Vass will tell you during his analysis of those pieces of spare tire cover, that he found something unexpected. His instrumental analysis found the highest concentration of chloroform that he's ever seen. While he will tell you that small amts. of chloroform have been found in human decomp under certain circumstances, his analysis of this showed a concentration of chloroform 1,000's of times seen in human decomp alone. The amt. he detected simply cannot be accounted for by human decomp alone.
