Yes, thanks panthera for transcription. It's what I do for work all day whilst lurking on WS. LOL Thanks to wenwe4 too. Thanks to EVERYONE who is willing to transcribe for everyone. I'm a transcriptionist but it's like a drywaller who buys a house with knotty pine: You don't wanna come home to it. LOL KWIM?

Boy o boy - I sure hope at least one juror got that date written down in the notebook. It was June 4th - well BEFORE Caylee was in the trunk.

It makes me sick to see them now come on these shows at night and twist and confuse peeps. I so want to call in and correct her! lol
You are right, I had to look it up on my own personal timeline on this case that I have kept since almost the first day. I wasn't able to actually hear the testimony today, but I was getting the feeling that the information was being misinterpreted.

My timeline says: WEDNESDAY JUNE 4, 2008
— According to Amy, this is the night of Troy Brown's Birthday Party at Voyage. Casey comes with Tony, Clint and his girlfriend Maria. The four of them went back to Tony's place and then Casey had to leave.

Did Maria say she had ridden in the car another time as well?

Luka says she's going to take the stand?

I've been wondering, how can she not at this point? How else do they bring in all this sex abuse evidence? It can only come from her at this point, right? I can only hope they put her up on the stand. I will call in sick that day. I wouldn't miss that for the world.

Someone would also have to prove or disprove what chemicals were used in that particular swimming pool. Did GA maintain it or was there a pool service? In other words, it could be possible the proper chemicals weren't used or at the recommended level. There should have at least been chlorine in the pool, however.

Actually not all pools/spas use chlorine. Our hot tub runs only on salt that makes a chemical change into chlorine but I never add chlorine.

I've read several times that tha A's used a non chlorine chemical in their pool. Name starts with a B.

Hearing that it's possible to determine if someone drowned in a pool with only skeletal remains was a bombshell for me tonight. If there were any chemicals used in that pool, would it still be possible to cut into the bone to do that test the scientist mentioned? Has it already been done (guessing not)? Boy, I'd love to see the results of that forensics test.... But, probably too late for anyone to consent to unearthing sweet Caylee even if the test could disprove Casey's claims. Too bad the defense claim wasn't known at the time of autopsy...

P.s. I have such a love / dislike relationship with Nancy Grace. Right now, it's love. When she is pushing for justice for the true victim, nobody better, imo... The hour just flies by...

Caylee was cremated

  • #132
Ah, didn't know that Caylee was cremated. Thanks for the info.

Darn, I'm sure if any chemical bone test had been done, we'd probably already know about it...

Wonder what the A's will do with their new found money from the exclusive
video...

IMO

Maybe the video came from that last minute supplemental discovery the defense added just before the trial. There were a couple of disks of pictures...can't recall if there was video

Postpartum depression is moderate to severe depression in a woman after she has given birth. It may occur soon after delivery or up to a year later. Most of the time, it occurs within the first 3 months after delivery.

Causes, incidence, and risk factorsWomen commonly have mood changes during pregnancy, especially after delivery. These mood changes may be caused by changes in hormone levels. Many non-hormonal factors may also affect mood during this period:•Changes in your body from pregnancy and delivery

•Changes in work and social relationships
•Having less time and freedom for yourself

•Lack of sleep
•Worries about your ability as a mother

Feelings of anxiety, irritation, tearfulness, and restlessness are common in the week or two after pregnancy. These feelings are often called the postpartum or "baby blues." These symptoms almost always go away soon, without the need for treatment.

Postpartum depression may occur when the baby blues do not fade away or when signs of depression start 1 or more months after childbirth.

You may have a higher chance of postpartum depression if you:

•Are under age 20
•Currently abuse alcohol, take illegal substances, or smoke (these also cause serious medical health risks for the baby)

•Did not plan the pregnancy, or had mixed feelings about the pregnancy
•Had depression, bipolar disorder (for example, manic depression), or an anxiety disorder before your pregnancy, or with a previous pregnancy

•Had a stressful event during the pregnancy or delivery, including personal illness, death or illness of a loved one, a difficult or emergency delivery, premature delivery, or illness or birth defect in the baby

•Have a close family member who has had depression or anxiety

•Have a poor relationship with your significant other or are single
•Have financial problems (low income, inadequate housing)

•Have little support from family, friends, or your significant other

Symptoms
The symptoms of postpartum depression are the same as the symptoms of depression that occurs at other times in life. Along with a sad or depressed mood, you may have some of the following symptoms:

•Agitation or irritability
•Changes in appetite

•Feelings of worthlessness or guilt

•Feeling withdrawn or unconnected
•Lack of pleasure or interest in most or all activities

•Loss of concentration

•Loss of energy

•Problems doing tasks at home or work
•Negative feelings toward the baby
•Significant anxiety

•Thoughts of death or suicide

•Trouble sleeping
A mother with postpartum depression may also:

•Be unable to care for herself or her baby

•Be afraid to be alone with her baby

•Have negative feelings toward the baby or even think about harming the baby (Although these feelings are scary, they are almost never acted on. Still you should tell your doctor about them right away.)

•Worry intensely about the baby, or have little interest in the baby
Signs and tests
There is no single test to diagnose postpartum depression. Your doctor may have you complete a questionnaire (such as the Edinburgh Postnatal Depression Scale) at your office visit to look for signs of depression or risks for depression.

In my heart of hearts this is what happened. She had Post-P Depression.....got pregnant unexpectedly, "allegedly" the father died in an accident, she wanted to give baby up for adoption or abort, Cindy said NO. Cindy harped and harped on her re taking care of Caylee (rightfully so but didn't see the s/sx of post-p depression and get her help). Numerous fights/anxiety ensued with family, felt everyone forgot about her and loved caylee more than her from her ex-boyfriend to family.....grew to completely resent caylee and had a family fight for the "last time" w/ threats of taking away caylee from her and she snapped.....and killed caylee....this way to get back at Cindy and alleviate her "burden" from keeping her from having fun like her friends. I don't think Caylee died by drowning...I personally think ica snapped and it was a long time coming.....does she deserve the death penalty? Honestly, I do not know.....the Bible says an "eye for an eye" however only God can truely judge but what she did is just completely unforgiveable. She should be spade and sent to prison for life so she can never have another child or harm another child. :truce:

LET THE FIREWORKS FLY!

They tested her little bones for chemicals IIRC (at least drugs or toxins)

Someone tonight mentioned 'diatoms', I believe it was, and it reminded me that something similar had come up in another case because I remember researching it at the time. Maybe it was the Laci Peterson case?

I wondered that too . . .but didn't NG say hers was "exclusive video" of the birthday party?

I've read several times that tha A's used a non chlorine chemical in their pool. Name starts with a B.

Even with that, (according to the expert on NG's show tonight) there should still be something through testing her bones to reveal if she had drowned in the pool. Therefore, if there was any truth in her accidentally drowning in the pool, why wouldn't the DT have tested her remains before she was cremated? :waitasec:
