I too thought that the body was placed in the playhouse at some point. Maybe initially, and she did try to bury her in the yard, found it too difficult, and then put the baby back into her trunk.

I have to go back and read the transcripts to see exactly what date MK and TonE were in ICAs car.

There is a timeline also that might have that info........but I always believed there was something odd about the shovel. She must've thought she could bury that child in the As yard.

Weird.

Or she used the shovel for leverage to pry something up......like putting the tip of the shovel under one corner of the playhouse or sandbox to lift it up.

IS Recap:

mb: next witness worked with ica, som, same thing? same questions. everybody has said she was normal. but what is normal for ica

vinnie: good pt. d agrees she isnt normal

cJ: next witness will say shes a great shot girl. scantily clad. could ica be up beat and sell drinks and do hot body and all, right after her child died or is JB gonna be successful that the sexual abuse clouded her mind? (so shes giving both sides)

vinnie: shows hot body photo and wonders if that "is what you call game face" after her daughter died.

vinnie asks mb if part pics are having the impat we anticipated?

mb says he thinks it is, then, who knows, but we dont know what normal is, with ica

next videos of altercation this am with jb

Think about it. Two days prior to borrowing the shovel Casey's precious daughter died in a tragic accident in that same back yard that she now wants to dig up bamboo roots?? Really?? A mother would not even want to step foot in the backyard after such a tragic accident!!

And I seem to recall she wanted to dig it up to protect Caylee's little feet.

Wonder if this girl was jealous of Casey too?? I find it fascinating that the defense is implying that all these people are lying... everyone but their client. :banghead:

Yes, poor ICA, going through life helping people, cooking, cleaning, being a good girlfriend and loving mother. How awful for her to be surrounded by people who are out to get her, she must feel so lonely, a bright shining star forced to defend herself against an entire world that has banded together to destroy her.

Wonder if we'll see any of this today?

Dunno but I like the look of it sitting out there on the table. It's there for ICA to look at as well as the jury.

I have HLN on and they keep showing JB's opening statement about George holding Caylee and yelling at Casey "look what you did!" and no neighbors heard a thing. Hmmmmm.

That has puzzled me from the day I heard it, who googles something so simple as a shovel????? I mean, go to walmart, or any hardware store & you can find a shovel!

Perhaps after she looked up breaking necks and household weapons, she looked up images of shovels to see what kind would be best to break her daughter's neck.

But I think the shovel she borrowed had nothing to do with that. She contemplated burying Caylee in her parent's backyard and then thought better of it.

Ok is there any evidence that relates to the shovel?

Right now it looks stupid the neighbor was called about the shovel, if the state doesnt have a reason to talk about the shovel then I understand JB not wanting him up there all it does is lead to speculation

The state shouldnt have needed him without evidence tied to the shovel. IMO

it is huge in terms of an investigation but once it turns out not to be related it makes it look like the state is tossing stuff out for no purpose.IMO
Ya know If I didnt know what I know.

Did she ever borrow anything before? ever? A lighter on the 12th KWIM? Caylee wasnt buried.

IMO, this does tie into the evidence, circumstantial though it may be. We have the decomp in the car, cadavar dogs hitting on the car and the backyard, car backed into garage, and ICA borrowing a shovel. Especially when you put these all together, this is circumstantial evidence ICA was attempting to dispose of Caylee's remains.

Kc has the chills....."A sweater isn't going to help you honey."

You bet! That is little Caylee's cool breath on your neck ICA..."I'm here mommy"...

And rest assured after you are done on this planet ICA it will be a lot warmer where you will go!

Just throwing this in red herring or no - but in the pic shown to the jury there was a shovel standing in the corner - so why did she need another - I'm not being snarky, seriously trying to noodle this one out....

I thought the same thing! I think JB -was- trying to paint BB as some sort of stalker man...or at least alluded to him being a "Nosy neighbor" it felt like he was trying to shut him up.

Well of course he hit on ICA cause she is just all that and then when she turned him down he decided to frame her :banghead:

About the shovel.....
JB is going to say/imply "What's the big deal? My client borrowed a shovel to dig up Bamboo roots!
Hey, it COULD happen!"

BBM - I agree. If you've never done any gardening you don't know how hard it is to dig a big hole. Some people have buried their victims in their backyard.

IMO

I was going to suggest that in order to either prevent or further contribute to the continuing Computer Chair Butt Spread we should do a few laps around the room, a few jumping jacks or even some sit-ups whenever there was a SideBar called.. BUT Holy Moley.. the way JB is going.. we would be totally worn out by the end of the day.. LOL !!!

I think she wanted to spite the parents. She planned on never seeing ca and ga again. She was going to live the fun life... She wouldnt have had to go in the back yard just ca and ga. moo

I think you're correct. However, I'm confused as to why someone with a shed, and a yard, and invasive bamboo would not own a shovel themselves. But that's besides the point...I think she googled shovel because she was thinking of buying one.

Sorry, Casey nor any other 22 yr old living at home would strike me as appearing to care about the yard or yard work. I lived at home at 22 and the yard was the last thing I concerned myself with.

"snothead" keeps popping into my head.

along with referring to the smell of her daughters decompsing body in her trunk a dead animal.

:banghead: I need another shower
