Forgive me if this has already has been commented on, I have a two year old and a three year old so I can't keep up with the pace of the thread. In the picture of the backseat of the sunfire, I couldn't help but notice that the car seat doesn't look right. The straps are set very low, as if for an infant, not an almost three year old. My two year old is very tiny for her age, and there is no way that she would fit in that car seat with the straps set that low. Now, we had to take car seat installment training when we were first licensed as foster parents so perhaps I am just being nitpicky about the whole thing. Still, even if one were not "trained" about proper car seat installation and so on- doesn't it seem obvious that the settings are too low and not only uncomfortable for an almost three year old but also not safe?
Minor point, I realize. But yet another indication to me that Casey, despite supposedly putting on a "loving, attentive" mother facade, really, deep down, didn't pay that much attention to the things that a "normal" mother would pay attention to.

no she ditched the car June 30th she drove it for 2 weeks with Caylee's car-seat in the back seat

Tony and 2 of his friends went in Caseys car somewhere on the 20th (i think )With Casey driving.

Did not smell a car , Where was the car seat then? No one said anything about it WHY?

Will it be asked later?

Sad George is much harder to watch than angry George. Every time the smell is mentioned he seems to go right back to that tow yard in his mind, "Please don't let that be my Csomethingaylee." He is devastated since accepting that truth...

Yet ICA has ice water running through her veins.

Soon there will be something else running through her veins, hopefully.

I honestly believe that if the State rested today, she'd be found guilty of murder one.

I hate her.

Ok everyone clarification I hope the SA clear this up so the jurors don't get sucked into JB's antics.

GA did not say that the car was at Amscot's for 3 days before being towed. GA was upset because he saw the date of the letter and the letter indicated the date that the car was towed from Amscots and that there was a difference of three days from the date towed from the date of the letter. He was upset that as a courtesy they weren't called sooner since they live a mile away from the tow yard.

JB wants you to believe that GA knew when the car was dumped, IMO the testimony doesn't reflect that.

JSR

DS busy looking up evidence clarification cases, or science.

KC looking other way at JB. JB pontificating.

I do have to say, I can understand why he wouldn't want her to go to death row. No matter how awful she's been to him (which she def. has!) she's still his daughter, and he still loves her. MOO

Some people who sit on a jury have an issue putting someone on death row and that's a stranger to them. Imagine if it was your own child, no matter how bad they were.

IIRC there is an entire thread about the carseat amd the straps were discussed. Was it determined that Cindy switched the carseats??

I have a similar Eddie Bauer car seat and as they grow the shoulder area just goes up and over their shoulders. When they first get into that size it seems too high hitting across closer to their face. The front piece you can slide up or down to fit snug. Then pull the strap at the crotch area to lengthen or shorten once they are in to make it a safe ride.

I was about to make a similar comment. :) Plus, as depicted in the photo, there are only one set of slots the straps can go...

KC's forgetting her act-- I like it.

When my hubby talks about me he also says wife. When he introduces me to someone he calls me his bride, and we've been married for 35 years.

In addition to that not being odd...

If George said "Cindy" on the stand they would promptly say "and who is Cindy?"

Just like when Mallory said "Lee" and they said "and who is Lee Anthony?" And she had to say "Casey's brother."

By just saying "my wife" he is eliminating having to clarify over and over.

I've missed a lot. Have CA or LA been called up yet?

I clearly heard Simon Birch say that George told him that the car had been at Amscot for 3 days before it was towed.

Did Amy H. testfy? If so I missed it, and why did they skip her?

I wish the jury could see the dramatic change in ICA's demeanor the minute they are out of sight.

IMO
