Beth Karas just said everyone is saying how nice Casey was and how good she was with her daughter. Well all the people saying that had only known her for a short time, she had very few long time friends, all newer friends.

Well, and Mallory started out her questioning by stating how she didn't really spend a lot of time with kc. So.....

Daggers ICA at Will and the pic DCS goes into whisper mode.

I think Mallory was crying at her/the loss of Caylee not that she's supporting Casey's crazy defense.

She may not support but saying they had 'an incredible bond' doesn't win points for the state.

DS leaning and whispering to ICA...ICA nodding her head "yes".....
I think she said "you are being railroaded here. don't worry, we'll get you off on appeal"

The jury heard "special bond"...it was points for the DT. Now the State will do something to ERASE said points, but at this point ...it WAS points for the DT.
How?

All children and mothers have a special bond, even children with mothers who beat them on a daily basis. Small children love their mothers, no matter what. Full stop.

Surely if I can reason that out, the jury can.

Addressing it only lends credence to it. The jury would say, "Hmm...maybe the State does find the Defense story plausible." The State just needs to do what they're doing, get to the experts, and let the evidence lead the way.

Going down other paths, only complicates things, and can raise a doubt about the State's explanation.

I think the State's dogged approach will pay off once the testimony gets to KC actually telling everyone Caylee has been kidnapped. I hope they even get to slip a pic of her wearing a Caylee t-shirt. *grrr*

Regardless of whether you buy the states or defense theory of what happened, I think it's amazing how ICA went about her daily life as if nothing had ever happened. There are few human beings on this planet that could completely disregard the trauma of a human being, let alone a family member, let alone their own child, being dead. Even OJ didn't show this complete disregard after the fact.

It's an interesting study on the human mind and how someone as deranged as ICA processed this stuff.

She felt relieved not to have Caylee! Free! Living la Bella Vita! that's why

Exactly. Remember when Lee mouthed to Casey that he loved her and she cried? It's kind of like "I know what you did. I still love you but I am going to tell the truth."

Casey does have a twinge of guilt when it comes to her family and their reaction to all of this. She even cried when Tony got a little choked up and said Caylee was a great kid, she nodded. This means she is not crazy, she knows right from wrong she just doesn't care and that is where the death penalty will come into play.

I was thinking about that earlier..there are people who can put on a brave face, but there's a big difference between that and making up outrageous lie after lie and being a freakin cheerful cheerleader. Especially when your child has just died/been murdered.

Now I am having doubts....after Mallory. If the entire clan hasn't stopped in their tracks and changed direction, I'm not so sure they aren't playing along with the defense. Maybe GA just couldn't actively throw himself under the bus, he had to defend himself to some extent. But if the rest of the family, Lee included, goes along.....:banghead:

And if that is the case I hope they are all arrested if she is found not guilty. LA for molestation, GA for molestation, obstruction of justice and improper disposal of a body and CA obstruction.

Love it! Showing that she was angry that Tony may move back to NY!
