I agree...Mason and Baez will try anything to get a mistrial...:twocents:
And to think ICA thinks she will get an Acquittal so she can get away from the parents....
IMO a GUILTY verdict is coming down...
Here are some of the highlights, IMO
Simon Birch's testimony
the 911 Calls
The jail call
the lying that Cindy testified about
Tony's testimony
The photos of Casey partying
the videos of her shopping...

Then to the above we add
Lee's testimony
Amy, Jesse's testimony
LE's testimony
and then unleash all the scientific evidence...

Sure Baez..put Casey on the stand to tell her side of the story.....I am sure Casey will perform the best work of fiction we will ever encounter in our lives:twocents:

What will really get the attention of jurors are the photo's of Casey running around with a "find Caylee" tshirt on.

I was just thinking that same thing as I let the four legged fuzzies outside for their "special break"

I was thinking.. too bad AF is not in the courtroom today.......

this is not going to be fun to watch beit CM or JB...

MOO

Along the sames lines, I can't help wondering how Strickland feels about not being the Judge in this trial? I imagine him pondering the progress in the case, shaking his head, and thinking, "Indeed. The irony is rich." :D

I can't figure out what Baez can cross her on. He can't bring up the abuse at this time. I think he might just let her go.

LOL...I can. He will ask her if Casey was a loving mother? Was she a caring mother? Was she amazing mother? Ok enough im going to get sick now. :puke:

'i have been going through other reosurces to find her which i know is stupid'??!?!?!?!?!?! that alone is insane to even say!!!

911 operator to Casey -- And why are you just calling now?? Operator can't believe what she's hearing.

IDK, but listening to it, it sounded an awful lot like what the defendant might concoct once she was at the end of yet another hallway. LDB said it herself--when ICA is trapped by her lies, she doesn't come clean. She concocts another lie, and yet another one, to cover herself.

Remember that the jury also heard today that ICA told her mother all about being in Jacksonville with Jeff H, and how Jeff's mom was married in the hospital chapel because she was deathly ill... today has got to have blown those jurors' minds IMO.

Your comment made me think/wonder if Jose and Linda saw each others opening statements(there was some hula baloo about it but I don't remember if it was because they were going to or not going to?) but if Linda did...

I wonder if she added that part about the "new bigger better lie." Either way, it is the truth and the jury is getting first hand knowledge of that, imo.

And there-in lies the problem with this family- enabling makes them worse.. teaches them they can get away with anything and everything.

I have always stated that if Cindy is truthful at trial I will stop discussing her harshly, she deserves credit for FINALLY standing up to her daughter and I'ma give her that but enabling is enabling.. it can't be ignored or denied- it happened. If this girl was held accountable YEARS ago this could have been prevented. This "family" is a perfect example of why children must have consequences and be taught about personal responsibility.

Yes but the threat of never seeing Caylee again was very real to them. I witnessed this with my own sister. She used her kids against my mother. It is a very scary thing to see. You want to stay close so you can make sure the kids are okay.

For those of us who have followed this ordeal from the beginning, have seen so many evolutions of Cindy. Now in retrospect, I think Cindy was just incapable of even imagining that Casey could do anything to Caylee. Who coulod blame her? She loved that child with her whole being, and knew that Casey was not being a good mother to her. I think we have seen her going through all the stages of grief over the past 3 years. DENIAL, ANGER, BARGAINING, DEPRESSION and finally ACCEPTANCE. People do not necessarily go through these stages in this particular order, but we have seen both Cindy and George evolving through these stages of loss and grief. We are seeing today her total realization of just how evil and cold her daughter really is. And LDB is methodically walking her through all the lies that she had been told by Casey. She is a broken woman. It is just so horribly sad. Those grandparents really deserve our prayers and support now.

I totally agree!
How in God's name can you think about your daughter hurting or killing her baby and your grandchild? You cant! You wont! JMO

I wonder if JB is going to bring up CA's medicated state during her deposition to 'discredit' her. Say that she was in "cindy-world" from the xanax or something.

I missed this morning. Where are we? Has JB begun cross yet or does he begin after the recess?

All I can think to say is that this has been the most emotionally draining day of the trial so far....CA's testimony and the 911 tapes.....I haven;t listen to the jail phone call for a long time, had almost forgotten how powerful that was....ICA's little temper tantrum for TL;s #, etc. The DT really needs to convince ICA to change her plea and throw herself on the court's mercy. Even if the DT manages to confuse the jury on the scientific evidence, they can't make the jury un=hear ICA's lack of emotion or concern for Caylee in those calls or even while CA is so visibly distraught on the stand. Nothing in the tapes shows a scared, abused victim lying for her abuser. They only show a selfish, egocentric brat trying to get her way. I'm gonna have to watch the cross later, afraid I will throw things at the puter when JB or CM starts in on CA, trying to twist everything for their poor little victimized girl.:banghead:

Got tp stop before I get banned.......

Yeah, other resources?? What other resources are there - this situation is exactly what LE is for.

Listening to the replay of Casey talking to 911 after Cindy handed her the phone.....Man, that dispatcher had to have been thinking WTH???? Her tone of voice when she said 'I already have someone on the way there for that' (that meaning the 'stolen car') and NOW they're telling the dispatcher there's a missing child. She's got to be thinking: what's more important? A missing car or a missing child? Gotta give her credit for not losing it completely trying to make sense of that call. She probably thought before that that she had heard some doozy 911 calls.

All KC had to do was move out!

Watching tru online and when they replay asking for a break....my gosh it makes me fall apart. She asks with and in such a childlike manner. How the heck can her daughter sit the way she does?

  • #356
I hope there were two things from the jailhouse call that stay with the jurors. When Kristina was crying and saying she would die if anything happed to Caylee and KC responded "Oh well".
And of course "All they care about is Caylee."

Good gravy...I feel the overwhelming urge to call my mom right now. Just to tell her how much I appreciate her and that I would never never never ever do anything like this to her. Ever.

Oh then call her right now.

I wish I could call my mom, she passed away last month.

Wonder what Cindy will do with her feelings of personal guilt?

Well what the jury will be left with after all of the lies are brought into the record, is that Casey right down to the end told one further lie to get herself out of this. That is her lies Baez's opening statement about the molestation.

Baez cannot begin to prove anything he said. Casey is no longer going to be believed. So even Casey taking the stand will be doubted because of the lies and lies and more lies that turned into a fictional tale of her entire life with fake friends, fake emails, fake jobs.... And the jury is not going to like being lied to and may be more harsh if they attempt this. Baez totally took the wrong turn in this case. But did we ever doubt he would?

The State has proven through very powerful witnesses with more to come about the life of lies. I don't know how Casey got away with it so long. I mean how do you live your life with no truth? How do you love is your life is all one big fictional tale? I think Tony found out that answer.

George said the same thing to LE...
