I hope the jury is thinking the same thing I am: Each new LE person she speaks to she has the opportunity tell her drowning story. More and more LE showing up and she still lies. Not that I believe the drowning story.. but LE was there, she would have been safe from the wrath of her parents that she claimed she was so afraid of.

Maybe the previous lawyers left because they were informed of the direction the DT was planning on taking with the sexual abuse claims and the supposed drowning. I know that if I were a decent lawyer I would not want to be associated with something I felt would darken my image or cause me to have my professional ethics questioned.

My guess, having seen her in action as well as her (not/) charming husband, LKB is motivated by money and attention. MO. She's a piece of work.

I am sitting here at Ave Maria School of Law – a Catholic, national law school
In the cafeteria with 150 soon to be lawyer (graduating this Saturday)
We are all watching Casey Anthony Trial ….
There is not a Dry eye in the place…
Whenever JB and defense speaks and tries to make a point, they laugh so hard some are even crying…
They are betting there will be a mistrial…. Hmmmmm:banghead:

That would be quite the interesting bunch to watch the trial with. Anyone think she's innocent?

I don't think that this raises an ethical issue in itself if they are told by their client they were abused and that the death was accidental drowning.

However, I agree that they may have been worried that some of the trial strategies that were being discussed by the DT at the time were not sound.
