The trial is the first time I'VE heard Casey lying to the cops. I've read the lies, but I'm too busy usually to listen.....but her coldness and ability to just LIE....blows my mind.


He JUST said "drowned in the pool," Casey!!!! Why didn't you JUMP on that?

(I'm 'lucky' to be on disability this month to watch the trial. Whoo Hoo!)

Nothing she could tell them would surprise them. Mothers who ran over their kids, mothers whose children had drown, mothers whose children were beaten. Had to deal with people who have done horrible things to their children and then lied and lied. Sometimes someone made mistake and then lied and lied. (How prophetic is this - they had her # from day 1)

The part that gets me is even as she is being lectured to she is still trying to be the best friends of LAW Enforcement trying to con them more. It is unreal! She just keeps going.

George said she takes things to the Nth degree. She never gives up. And here we are today. She will take it to her grave, IMO

As someone who is hearing this tape for the first time, I feel it makes it perfectly clear to the jury that if this was by any chance accidental, THIS was her chance to explain. She sounds as if she doesn't care at all...like it is a wallet she is missing, not her DAUGHTER!! The police gave her ample opportunity to come clean. Unreal!

Oh SNAP!!! He even gives her the accidental drowning idea!!

I completely agree. I'm so glad they're playing this tape again. I listened to it a few years ago, and it just amazed me that she sat there and didn't seem to react when they gave her ample opportunity to be honest with them. I'd love to see the jurors' reactions while this tape is playing.
