My thought that she didn't was because she knew Caylee's mouth would be found with duct tape on it plus she was triple bagged and thrown in the woods like she was trash. That ain't no accident.
While listening to the audio, I was reminded of this quote from Gone With the Wind: "Melly, you are a cool liar" (Scarlet O'Hara to Melanie Wilkes). Casey is a COOL liar: Her lies are effortless and convincing. Scary!
I've only briefly scanned this thread to try to catch up with this morning's events. I slept in until 9:00am (west coast) and missed this morning's session of court. It looks like I picked the wrong day to sleep..........I've got a lot of catching up to do!
It's Jean C.
Personally, I pay no attention to anything that comes out of her mouth. I need it verified by someone credible before I believe anything she says. Pro-prosecution or pro-defense doesn't matter, I immediately ignore her comments.
And for our afternoon's listening pleasure, may I present DT's Theme Song

sorry I couldn't find a better clip
I just remembered something. Remember way back when LE was questioning ICA? They gave ICA EVERY opportunity to tell the truth. LE told her that if there was an "accident" that all she had to do was say so, and they would understand. So, if there was an accident of Caylee drowning in the pool, right then and there was her chance to tell LE! But she didn't!
IMO - I have thought all along that all of the deceitful qualities of the Scarlett character in Gone with the Wind are an apt description of ICA.
Sorry you received a note. That is not okay to me.
Too bad the DT does not realize that anything posted here has absolutely NOTHING to do with the case. Our opinions or statements are just that. Nothing to do with KC's alleged crimes, or convictions, nothing to do with defending or prosecuting the charges.
Here is what my brain keeps screaming. The defense has 1 job, create "Reasonable Doubt." All sarcasm and joking aside, has the defense proven 1 single thing to give reasonable doubt? In my opinion, they have just been fortifying the State's case. Can anyone show me where they have scored ANY points for RD?
When KC found out she would be charged with 1st degree murder and possible death penalty why did she not say then "it was an accident"? Besides that she is a nutcase why did she not speak up three years ago?
I cannot wait until my daughter comes home from school. We laugh at some of the things he says. I cannot wait to tell her he asked the detective what he would of done if Casey said don't sit there Zanny is sitting there. Is anyone taking notes of all the odd things he says. I like when he asked Tony L. if Casey ever talked about killing anyone, then said did she talk about killing you. When you were at JCPenny did you buy weapons, cloroform (sp?), duct tape. Did she talk about killing anyone then. My daughter and I were just looking at eachother and shaking our heads. If this was not a case about a dead 2 year old, it would be funny.
He is way over his head with this case.
:floorlaugh::floorlaugh: afterall ... tomorrow is another day ... :floorlaugh:

I'm kind of wishing that they played the jail phone call after the Universal recording. I think it would have made a bigger impact. The way she said that the police didn't listen to anything she said. :twocents:
