Heh, how'd you like to be the court reporter for this witness? sheesh! I had a friend from Fla. who was a court reporter, he could type 380 WPM but wow, the 4 stages of decomp?

Bet she'll be glad when this day is over...

Well, as gripping as this is, I must get to work. I suspect this testimony will last the better part of the day. It will be interesting and probably extremely annoying to watch the cross later on today.
Thanks to those who are providing updates on this thread.
Will the DT expert witness follow this witness I wonder. What was his name ?

twitter said Bloise was in the hallway

I agree with your assessment that the dynamic seems to have changed today. HHJP seems extremely annoyed today. Remember that there are always chamber discussions that the public are not privy to knowing or hearing about.

There is also the open court stuff like; telling HHJBP he was wrong on sustaining an objection by the prosecution, JB's excessive sidebar requests, his ridiculous theory, JB's time wasting like not bringing the files to the area HHJBP had set aside for the defense etc....etc...etc...

I could never be a judge. I have a tendency to make smart 🤬🤬🤬 comments slip out of my mouth before thinking. :innocent:

I'm sure we all get extremely annoyed when we are constanstly interrupted when following along with something we are interested in. The jury has to be about as steamed as I am right now.

  • #545
CM just walked away from the sidebar... looked fed up to me

  • #546
Cindy isn't on trial.

  • #547
#caseyanthonytrial Juror 16 was leaning his head against the wall and took a big yawn. Sidebar induced slumber.

Also, what is going on with KC and Miss Simms? They hardly seem to look at each other anymore.

Melendez-Diaz v. A state would not violate the Constitution through a "notice-and-demand" statute by both putting the defendant on notice that the prosecution would submit a chemical drug test report without the testimony of the scientist and also giving the defendant sufficient time to raise an objection.

I am right handed, don't know what George is, but seeing him on that side of Cindy would be more comfortable for me personally. I had noticed previously that he was on her other side and thought maybe he was a lefty. Just a casual observation of the picture, and to me I think it looks more comfortable. Perhaps they are getting closer....

IMO, Mr Baez is upset someone is trying to steal his thunder by making case law history and is attempting the Baez thwart manuever. The nerve of Mr Ashton. :)

Jose is banking on this case making him famous, and it will. Just not in the capacity he is expecting, IMO.

#caseyanthony-fell tweeted the defense served amy h a subpeona and then dr vass one on recess? what on earth?

  • #554
Come on Judge, "overruled" again please.

  • #555
I'm wondering what Simms is there for if she's not doing the forensic cross? Is she going to talk when it's the DT's turn? Seems like she's not doing all that much. I really thought she was going to do a lot more.

And JB's smirking, snickering, inappropriate laughter and eye rolling aren't winning points with the jury, I'm sure!

I think JB forgets that this odor allegedly comes from a 3 year old little girl. He might not FEEL respectful, but he'd be wise to at least ACT respectful.

Ya, I have to say the court reporter has a very difficult job. I really admire her work, it must be so tough.

Casey is very foolish to laugh and act the way she does in front of the jury. They will not appreciate losing 8 weeks of their lives for her to make a mockery of this trial and laugh as though she doesn't have a care in the world.

It irritates us but believe me the jury is watching.

A lot of the jurors are looking at #CaseyAnthony who sits directly across from them. She is just looking at attorneys in sidebar. -fell
