I agree with your assessment that the dynamic seems to have changed today. HHJP seems extremely annoyed today. Remember that there are always chamber discussions that the public are not privy to knowing or hearing about.

My dumb opinion is that partly is his concern for the jury being able to get on with their lives.
JB will keep them here til x-mas if he could. JMO

I used to like Beth K. I met her years ago when she was covering a trial the law firm I worked for was being televised.

But I have to wonder what trial she's watching now?! I think she's just another Baez 'groupie'. She's a 'friend' of his on FB and he seems to have her on speed dial on his phone as well. She was one of the first Baez texted about his 'private matter', IIRC.
