Vass put carpet sample in tevlar bag and incubated 2 days @ 35C. This was to approximate the temperature of Florida & because it speeds up volatility of chemicals. Wanted to determine absolutely what compounds were being liberated from carpet specifically, without any interference from air around it (when it was collected).

Stupid` question: I know Casey, Caylee and Cindy all have the same initials so you have to differentiate but why is casey "ICA"?

I'd almost think he was going for a bad defense so Casey could get a mistrial or appeal based on defense misconduct but that would be bad for his rep and career. Based on his level of upset over the jail videos where Casey complained about him, his ego is pretty important to him.

Largest peak in a chromatogram is the base peak. It was chloroform. They were shocked b/c they have never seen chloroform at those levels in a environmental sample

The crime is SO tragic, her behavior afterwards was SO horrific, and the DT tactics and demeanor is just beneath words.

For me, CA and GA wouldn't even factor in the decision making process.

ID'd 51 chemical components. One was chloroform. Largest peak or base peak was chloroform.They were shocked. Never seen it that high in environmental samples before. Can be biproduct of decomp, in parts per trillion.

ICA is Inmate Casey Anthony, which differentiates between Cindy and her...and also gives her the proper title she deserves.
