Cross examination over by 10:00! State may call their next witness.

  • #343
What, no redirect? I don't like that.

Sit. On. Hands.

Maybe I should have a gag...so I don't yell at the screen!!

yeah we are done!!!

It's been a long time now but I remember a way while back when Nancy Grace had on a dog and his handler (nice blonde lady) to demonstrate how the dog would react to decomp. They had put a piece of clothing that had the decomp on it hidden in a couch or chair prior to bringing the dog on the set. I don't think I've seen a dog more excited to find a piece of clothing, and he went right to it. He acted as if he'd hit the Vegas jackpot in rawhide bones and treats!

I was so impressed by that. These dogs are so specially trained, and they have the proof of it, so JB objecting to this seems very silly to me. It's not like they asked my cat, who does fetch but wouldn't know decomp from the man on the moon, to sniff in the A's backyard. These dogs are trained professionals.

She actually had someone on last night. Great demonstration. Showed how the dog passed up garbage, dead animal remains, etc. Only hit on cadaver aid.

JB remembering the evisceration he received yesterday in his "post game reviews" chooses to keep it short and sweet.

  • #347
I missed the answer about the dogs not going in the house. What was the purpose of that question?

  • #348
I think after everyone left the Anthony home on July 17th, GA went out and sprayed that area with a chemical...and now because of him spraying the yard...they can't grow grass back there. that's exactly what I think

  • #349
Wow! Not much to JB cross, huh? Why the big fuss yesterday?

  • #350
"I have nothing further, your honor."

That was short and sweet. He quit while he was ahead today.

OK the screened porch juts into the backyard essentially cutting off the 2 sides from each other. 1 side is where the playhouse, sandbox is - way at the opposite end of where the screened porch is. The pool is in the middle of the other side of the yard - opposite side of the screened porch.

Baez trying to make it sound like if you were standing looking at the playhouse, that the pool is directly behind you.

Not true - you have to go around the back of the screened porch to get to it.

As if the jurors haven't seen the pics - geez!!

  • #353
Just not sure what the point of Baez's cross - seemed to be that the cadaver dogs did not search the house?
Isn't he saying Caylee drowned in the pool? Is he saying someone took Caylee's body back into the house long enough for it to show decomp in the house?
What is this about?

  • #354
Just a reminder why we're here. Betcha Caylee loved doggies!

And I bet the dog at the Anthony's home was a real comfort to her.

I don't understand why JB would mention anything about Forgey's dog hitting INSIDE the playhouse. The testimony wasn't allowed in, but I still heard it. In my mind, that helps the state, because I tend to think Caylee's body was hidden there.

JB confuses me. That is all.

or George's sweat and blood from laying pavers in the back yard.

Near the playhouse, too, could have been Caylee falling and scraping a knee, cutting her head, or other things that happen to kids.

You know, I honestly could convict her just for the way she is looking and acting during this trial. I realize that is shallow and I'm ok with that.

I'm with you there! But don't be surprised if the DT uses that in her "favor," when they finally drag out the mental health people who will probably say ICA is divorced from reality and not responsible for her actions. Or some such garbage.
