Walked back into livingroom and saw image of Dorthothy Sims "comforting" Casey... Dorothy SO looks like she does not even want to be there!

This testimony is getting to DCS. The look on her face before she embraced ICA was quite telling.

This testimony is critical.

Well Gee, Casey...did you think when you dumped this precious little girl in this awful place that animals WOULDN'T chew on her little bones?!

NOW you care?! Give me a break.

  • #764
Just before the breakdown DS moved her arm right against ICA to signal its time to cry hard

  • #765
Bones chewed by animals...
This reaction seemed legit- reality hit!

Oh pleazzzzzzzzzzzzzzze, she is working it for the jury and the cameras.

OMG, now DS is hugging and comforting her. I knew she was going to play the jury like a fiddle........................

DS is not a good actress. Her consoling looks totally fake to me. :banghead:

This may be banned, but am really interested in seeing Casey's demeanor while in recess.

SLAM....just blew apart the DT about KRONK.

Yep! Kronk would have to be a medical specialist to place the bones where they were, all related to each other.
Have fun debunking this Mason.

  • #769
Full-blown hugging done by DS. ICA continues to cry on her shoulder. This is getting ridiculous. Somebody do something. She is not a CHILD!!!!!!!!!

I'm not even going to look.

What tissue number are we on, is it still 1?

  • #770
There is so much sympathy for ICA on IS it is absolutely ridiculous! They may as well be wearing "Team Casey" shirts! So absurd!

PLEASE review this forum thoroughly before posting today:

:tos: Here they are!

PLEASE avoid posts that are:

- bashing the defendant's looks or grooming, in words or through visual images

- using derogatory or demeaning terms to refer to players in this case

- snarky to fellow WSers

- otherwise sending the thread off-topic.

Posters who continue to ignore the TOS or the Rules of Etiquette will find themselves on a Time Out.

Please do not quote the offending post or comment upon it in any way. The mods are equipped with brooms and light sabers and will do everything in their power to make sure that WS continues to be the premier true-crime forum on the Web.

Thank you to the many posters who have helped the mods by alerting on questionable posts these last days.

during the sidebar I am bumping up the two opening posts. please review them. Please also know that you are wonderful people with wonderful hearts and I think you are doing a wonderful job. This is not easy for any of us...

I saw what looked like a guard removing a gallery spectator!

EW I can't believe how angry I am seeing KC being treated as though SHE were the victim! If it weren't for KC all these photos would not be shown !!!

I agree but they have to prove she put the tape there.

And she would not have to get it off before being able to breath. Just wet and shifted which should have left DNA.

Even though they didn't recover DNA from the duct tape (given the exposure to the elements I can't say I'm that surprised they didn't), I believe there will be testimony regarding the heart-shaped stickers that will link it all to Casey. Friends have stated she had placed the same type of stickers on her dead pets before burying them in that same location.

I'm a little dense lately what with having "baby brain" and all - but this suggested to me that the head was separated from the rest of the body, either due to a broken neck or some other injury. Am I reading too much into this, or am I just getting this way wrong? What reasons could there be for this? Anyone? :(

Sorry if i am being to graphic.....
Remains were scattered because of animals in the swampy area, insects and, probably scavengers as well.

In Session saying her tissue never gets wet and should be patented by Sham-Wow.

I'm going to try to clarify a few things so hopefully we are a little clearer about what is okay to post in this thread and what is to be saved for Sidebar. Hope this helps. :)

Re: posting Tweets - Previously we have requested that all tweets be restricted from this thread and posted in the Twitter thread. Posting single tweets from anyone inside the courroom that can shed light on what we are unable to see via our monitors are fine to post here. (note: repetitive, multiple posts of the same tweet will be removed at mod discretion so they do not clog up the thread.) Most all of these will be from MSM reporters - I really can't think of any exceptions off of the top of my head. If they can tell us how jurors are reacting, that is huge, relevant info and we need to see it here. I ask that those of you who do post tweets still include them in the Twitter thread because we have many members who log in for a quick update and depend solely on that thread.

Re: posting about the demeanor of the defendant or witnesses -
This is the deal:
It is perfectly fine to post FACTS & OBSERVATIONS about their demeanor. (e.g., Casey is emotionless; Casey is giggling while listening to this testimony, etc...)

It is the "Casey's blouse is so low cut she must be trying to get the attention of Juror #11, the George Clooney look-a-like"; "eyebrows and hair" ('nuff said :aktion1:). Bottom line, if it doesn't add anything to understanding what is going on during TRIAL, then save these comments and post them in the Sidebar. Express those sentiments there. (Remember! TOS and Rules of Etiquette still apply in Sidebar: no namecalling, bashing and derogatory remarks simply intended to be snarky.)

Okay, I hope that helps clarify a few things.
