There is 2 things that listening to this witness that keeps going thru my mind..and that WOW..No wonder it took these people days upon days to locate and clear this scene of evidence also recall decomp dog being used to try to locate scattered bones too and next..The Defense "Dream Team..namely Dr. Lee and whomever they had on board at that time to get inside that scene immediately and complained in court about not being allowed....WELL NOW I KNOW!!..Can you imagine Dr. Lee in therre too??

I'm a little dense lately what with having "baby brain" and all - but this suggested to me that the head was separated from the rest of the body, either due to a broken neck or some other injury. Am I reading too much into this, or am I just getting this way wrong? What reasons could there be for this? Anyone?

Animals had disturbed the body. You can imagine what that means and how it was scattered.

Once the bones are disarticulated due to composition, animals scatter the bones, the area was flooded, so water could move them, Kronk may have kicked the skull, etc. Bones are frequently found in a large area once the body has decomposed. (And, apologies to be so graphic--and you might want to stop reading at this point--but animals will eat the flesh prior to decomposition, as well. Sorry about typing that. Poor beautiful little Caylee. So it's not uncommon for the skull to be found somewhat away from particularly the smaller bones, or the bones that are easier for animals to grasp in their jaws and chew or tear away to feed on, and even take back to burrows for food. This in no way means she had a broken neck.)
