Me thinks that CM's "tone" during discussion of sensitive testimony..will offend the jury.

  • #1,182
So according to CM, ICA was a good mother right up until the point she killed Caylee?

  • #1,183
Interesting how she can't look up when the Prosecution is asking questions, but as soon at the DT/CM is up... now all is good and she can look up. Same testimony ICA, your act is just that and the jury will see through it. JMOO

  • #1,184
Looked directly at the jurors, hmmm...

  • #1,185
What's with the scowl? ICA and her inappropriate scowls is an eternally baffling enigma.
She is likely angry that the testimony is making her look bad.

  • #1,186
KC looked up, totally evil look on her face, then did the almost throw up burp motion, then drank water

She should puke knowing her tiny daughter's ribs were chewed on by animals. :banghead:

  • #1,187
Note she has no difficulty observing the proceedings when her own attorney is speaking about the same thing...

  • #1,188
Or turn it off?
I don't think they can do that. Has to do with appeal issues, I think. Defendant has to be able to view evidence against her (perchance she wants to). IMO

  • #1,189
Why can't Casey bring herself to look at this Dr for very long? Usually she looks at the questioner, then turns her head to the answerer - she can't seem to do it with him.

JA: I ask the court to recognize the witness in the area of forensic anthopology

HHJP: the witness is accepted as a expert

JA: what is the significance of the bone?

when trying to interpret the dispersal at the sceen and how long the skelton was at the sceen. they were under the leaf wall and that meant they had to have been there before the leaf wall. it was a swampy area, water south south east. it is possible when the area was flooded the actions were from the silt may have resulted and the bone was buried.

JA: how was it found?

close to a palmetto trunk. one of the lower areas, area F: if we look is the lowest area. when the whole trunk was brought in there it was depostied in that location. As water moves the process would have led to almost burying the bone.

JA: based on the evidence do you have an opinion on how long these remains were in that area?

we use multiple lines of evidence, trying to understand the dispersal. overall the bones were dry, not just soft tissue but the marrow. these bones were completely dry no decomp and some erosion on the bones which would take time. One bone was almost buried and that with root evidence, a period of six months would be possible.

JA: animals?

yes, animal activity. There was some animal chewing on a couple of the ribs. this area was processed well, there were missing bones they could have been chewed and nothing left of the bone after that.

HHJP: cross

CM: as a forensic anthropologist, you examine the bones yourself

correct

CM: you xray bones

they were xrayed

CM: you did it?

I do or ask it to be done

CM: no evidence of pre mortum trauma?

no

CM: meaning no prior broken bones?

anti mortum trauma?, you asked two questions

CM: I can't hear well anyway...you found no evidence of fractures?

no

CM: any twist or torking of bones?

no evidence

CM: any evidence that this child had traumatic injury after death?

Hey CM, wasn't what happened to her when she died bad enough?

Oh, Casey is alright now.

  • #1,193
she looks at the jury when CM is trying to defend her against the child abuse (pre mortum bone fractures, etc)

  • #1,194
does it matter if Caylee never had anything traumatic happen to her before her death? blah CM

  • #1,195
i would rather hear Mr. Mason than Mr. Baez. JMO.

  • #1,196
So what Mason? All that proves is that ICA didn't beat Caylee up before she decided to duct tape her face shut, chloroform her and throw her into the swampy woods like trash.

Good for you for scoring that point. Savor it - it's the only one you'll get.

  • #1,197
Casey looked at the jury for the first time...looked quickly away...and started acting again...but more interested now

  • #1,198
CM: As a forensic anthropologist, do you examine bones yourself.
Dr:Correct.
CM: Do you take X-rays of bones?
Dr.:Bones are x-rayed.
CM: Did you find evidence of any multiple trauma?
Dr: Are you asking about post mortem trauma?
CM: Let me rephrase: No evidence of fractures?
Dr: No.
CM: No evidence of twisting of bones?
Dr. No.

Not seeing sadness from ICA, I do see anger. jmo

  • #1,200
Gritting my teeth...I just know CM is going to make me mad again...God, these emotions are killing me - sadness when it's prosecution and then anger when CM opens his mouth...
