This is getting OLD. I'm so sick of this ridiculousness. I'm so sick of Baez's antics to the point it is seriously making me angry. To think that the remains were handled by more than one person, or that people are all involved in some conspiracy against Casey to make money...it is just LUDICROUS and all points to one thing - THEY HAVE ZERO DEFENSE. Baez is now questioning the witness with regards to how much money is he being paid (of which he hasn't collected yet).

Guess what, Baez? In the professional world, people get PAID to do their JOBS - even if that JOB entails the horrifying to-do's with dead/decomposing bodies or remains! It's a dirty job, but someone has to do it, and that's probably why it pays so well - who would want to do that?! Whether they make 30 cents or 30 million off of this case, it doesn't make Caylee any less disposed of like "trash/garbage" or Casey any less of a murderer.

Isn't he a State witness? The State will pay him. JB is just mad he is not getting paid, or much. Also wants jurors to be mad at what State is charging up in payments to witnesses. I do not think he should be allowed to bring it up.

Also, if a Defense witness, the State of Florida still has to pay him.

AND, there is a cap on what Expert witnesses get paid.

I'm just peeved, can you tell?

IMO, this is an open and shut case - unfortunately our "client" deserves full and just representation. I love this witness!!! I loved Dr. G too.

Who are these witnesses being called by - the defense or prosecution???

It's really insulting that Baez asks everyone if they have been paid. I don't think that angle is going to play well with the jury AT ALL. These people have a right to make a living practicing their specialty. They have specialized expertise and should be paid accordingly. I hope the jury is as irritated with this as I am.

And LOVE the witness pointing out that Baez hasn't yet paid him.
