MY OPINION is that with his credentials, this Dr. DESERVES that income! Come on! 50 years experience....and we spare NO EXPENSE on the cold-blooded murder of a 2-year old.

And I promise you, if he were not on this case, Dr. Haskell has PLENTY of other paying jobs.

I do not think that whole "How much were you paid?" question is going to sit well with the jury. Everyone knows how expensive an attorney is. Why shouldn't an expert be paid? Bad move, Baez.

  • #603
OMG the defense hasn't paid this witness for his deposition time or travel. :floorlaugh: I can't believe this came out at trial.

and the DT are the ones that keep asking for more money!!!! unbelievable... wow this cross was absolutely hilarious!!! LOL:floorlaugh:

Okay, I might not bring up money at a trial with a man I owe money to.

Discussing the scientific difference between trash and garbage. One is organic and one is not!
It was trash in the trunk - it was inorganic material.

  • #607
Was there any food in that bag?

Dr H.: no. not that I could see.

  • #608
Baez is very confusing and Im quite sure the jurors will feel the same

Yes he seeks to confound but he is oh so transparent and comical as well. I'm certain the jury sees the obvious. :great:

I wonder if JB actually believes that everybody should work for free ?

Nah. He's just jealous because they get more than $3.00 per hr. You know, slave wages...

  • #610
LOL, JA wants JB to leave his big pad of paper up so he can use it for reference (it is, to be technical, trash).

  • #611
hate to break it to dr. haskel ,but jb dosen't pay his bills.

  • #612
LOL by the way MR. Baez, you have not paid me yet Baez says the check is in the mail

So does that mean Baez has now testified to the fact that the check is in the mail and can be charged with perjury when it doesn't show up? :)

Anyone else notice HLN is massively screwed today?

  • #614
again, today's secret word is: pecuniary

Definition of PECUNIARY
1
: consisting of or measured in money
2
: of or relating to money
— pe·cu·ni·ar·i·ly \-ˌkyü-nē-ˈer-ə-lē\ adverb
See pecuniary defined for English-language learners »
See pecuniary defined for kids »
Examples of PECUNIARY

1. <that makes good pecuniary sense>
2. <the judge recused himself from the case because he had a pecuniary interest in the company that was being sued>

sentence 2 is rather close to home eh?

$400an hour and JB is wasting his time and not paying his bills.

The cheek of it is that the Defense are limited to $150 IIRC by the JAC

  • #616
Something is wrong with HLN.

  • #617
I want to bring Dr. Haskell back in a week to see if he received his check! ^i^

IMO, this is an open and shut case - unfortunately our "client" deserves full and just representation. I love this witness!!! I loved Dr. G too.

Who are these witnesses being called by - the defense or prosecution???

Answering my own question here I think, but the answer is defense...????

How much did you get paid to sell Caylee's picture, Mr. Baez?
