DT seemed sceptical about that bone yesterday and how it came to be stuck down into the silt.

Why can ICA listen to testimony about bugs feeding off her child with no problem (even giddy) but seems to have a problem looking at shrubs and bones?

Glad LBD cleared up that machete thingy..as I recall JB alluded it was evidence of someone who could have staged this scene..ala Kronk...Wonder if JB will now try to prove that Kronk owned a police issued machete??:floorlaugh:

KC now trying to breathe up the tears

One problem with that is, is that the smell of decomposing meat and a decomposing human are two different smells.

Not to mention that processed food does not decompose. Check out your MacDonald's food and frozen food. Might get moldy but will not decompose as in rot. Only fresh food can rot - like fresh meat and produce.

THIS makes her look down? But this mornings testimony was just fine???

ETA: Parts even had her laughing?

She may have been reprimanded by DT for being SOOOOOOO HAPPPPPPPYYYYYYY about flies and maggots taken from her child's decomposing body.

Is this the Ileum bone? The big hip bone. Well, big relatively speaking.

  • #808
Does it really matter if you are coming or going, just got up or whatever you are doing? I'd rather read about the testimony.

I was arguing that very thing with a new poster the other night who thought these items were hinky.
Seemed easy to me to assume they were for brush clearing.

And now we know the items were not Roy Kronk's!

Somehow she only pulls her "thinker" pose when they're talking about the crime scene. Not the trunk, not the decomp, not the garbage bags - just the crime scene and bones.

That's why I think it's been planned. Either just by Casey herself or the DT. It's an easy cue. Crime scene = distraught mother who can't look.

I find it fascinating that she has to cover her mouth whenever the crime scene comes up. VERY telling.

Are they supposed to be showing us that? Yes, it's the ileum.

everytime we are on photos of the scene she is careful not to look, I think it is because she is scared recognition of the area will be apparent on her face and identify her as the person who placed Caylee there. moo

They just showed a hip bone!

  • #816
Yep, the hip bone

KC trying to gear up again for crying

She's zoned out, gone until she checks back in. Does NOT want to be in the woods mentally.

Why can ICA listen to testimony about bugs feeding off her child with no problem (even giddy) but seems to have a problem looking at shrubs and bones?

Probably because the bugs are an abstract thought for her. SHe didn't see them or know about them, therefore she doesn't know she should be horrified by their mention.

The woods and the burial (dump) site she DID see. She was there. She carried the bag and the body. So it's real to her and she knows she should be "sad" while it's mentioned.

IMO.

Did we just see a bone?

Curious why talk of decomposing bodies, fluids, blow flies, tissue, decomposing tissue, etc did not bother ICA at all, but back to the crime scene and she assumes the Thinker pose again?
Methinks the Defence Team told her to quit yukking it up during testimony - during break.
