How about that Janie Weintraub last night on JVM. O....M...G...that woman makes my skin crawl. She "claims" that she is "close" to the defense, however her facts are always wrong. She stated that the police had pictures of the ladder up at the pool....and JVM so politely (NOT) pointed out to her that those pics were taken 31 days later and had no relevance whatsoever.

OMG, yes! This uninformed Janie Weintraub gets on my last nerve. Of all the TH's out there, she is the one that makes me lose my composure and start yelling obscenities at the TV. Plus, she is just too hard on the eyes.

Actually, I think that's JBs icon - CM is more of the Atticus Finch wanna be. Somewhere else I referred to both of them as "Not Billy Flynn" and "Ain't Atticus Finch"

I WAS interested in this case 'as it happened' in 2008, but do you know that Nancy Grace and her 'tot mom' screech actually made me think there might be NOTHING to this case? NG is a REAL turn-off. That's why I am SOOOOO happy to have discovered Websleuths and its GORGEOUS moderators. haha

Last night even my husband pointed out how demeaning to Caylee the whole "tot mom" moniker sounds. It's just so commercial and tasteless, IMO.

TO when I had first read the jail letters in regards to LA I remember thinking the same thing! For some twisted reason I can actually see ICA coming on to her brother as sick as it is. She looks to charm men and seek some sort of power over them with sex imo. It is not SA at all. It infuriates me that she is using this lie to her benefit. As a SA survivor I find it utterly disgusting. :banghead:

Oh, they will prevent a defense, but I distinctly recall CM stating that they will not offer an affirmative defense - so they're just going to try to tear down what the SA presented, not present anything on their own.

they have an uphill battle either way they go... and they can never *unring* that bell they rung in the opening statement about Casey knowing Caylee was dead, etc (even though they cannot consider it as evidence)

They couldn't even find Caylee's DNA on the tape. How on earth is anyone expected to find prints or other evidence after such a long period of time? According to CM: To all future murderers, don't video tape the deed and you are home free. sheesh.

They will based on what CM said in sidebar Monday. But must point out that, like HHJP, I do not believe anything that comes out of their mouth.

I think they have to now that they made that OS. I know it is is customary to always make OS at the beginning but maybe JB should have held that little nugget until he heard the SA's case. :floorlaugh:

I'm not sure what they are going to do to try and prove her case. It wouldn't be smart to put her on the stand (but I so pray for this to happen :innocent: ) so what do they have? RK obviously. Jesse G because he talked about a what if scenario with possible accidental drowning. They also have RA and the letters re abuse. Pretty flimsy stuff imo.

I read somewhere yesterday (sorry I have no link as I cannot remember where in all the sites that I read) that Robyn Adams has been moved to the Orange County jail. So apparently the DT is indeed planning on calling her. Big mistake IMO. No credibility whatsoever.

I too stopped listening to NG about a year into this cae. I was here at WS and with all of the facts we KNEW and the facts NG mis-reported nightly, I couldn't take it. But I have started watching her again during the trial, simply because she seems to HATE ICA as much as I do, and she seems to LOVE Caylee as much as we all do.

Yes, I have watched her recently too because I LOVE how she SPITS ICA's name. Her hate is fun when I agree with her, yes.

OT but that reminded me. My DD had a dream about this case.She said that she was in court and the witness on the stand was being questioned about chloroform.When ica jumped up and screamed it wasnt chloroform, it was BLEACH you fool's.My dd told me about this dream a little over 2 months ago.Now every time I see bleach mentioned I think of this lol.
