In his opening, JB said they were ashamed that Casey was pregnant and didn't tell anybody about it, that they hid Caylee "like a flower in the attic."
So, throwing a shower for her doesn't fit in with that line.

How true that is!!

Isn't it safe to have a baby - without it being premature - after 32 weeks of pregnancy? And there's 40 weeks in a normal gestation period? I'm saying a month early COULD be possible..just not with this pack of liars. Both of my girls were born at 37 weeks..so that's 3 weeks early, almost a month..

Exactly...how does someone/something arive early if it was never expected to begin with. How do you not know you are pregnant, but know the baby is early...I join the ranks of the confused.

Boy, I really missed a lot today. But what did JB accomplish or attempt to accomplish with LA? Was LA going for it? I don't get what the defense is trying to do with the family and whether it is working.

IMO, the DT was using LA to support their theory of a dysfunctional and secretive family, to the point it drove ICA to lie about Caylee drowing and GA to cover up for her.

The SA is trying to impeach LA using previous depositions showing he is on team DT and will support his sister by lying and changing his story.

Also JA was trying to show that LA volutarily sought out and met with JB last week. But refused to meet with the SA. My question, Now why would someone do that when JB publicly accused them of sexual abuse and insinuated that it was the reason for a paternity test? And JB did this before the entire world on live TV!!! The jury has to be asking the same question. IMO.

HLN must have heard alot of complaints about their coverage. They seem to be only taking breaks when courtroom is on break.

WTH must the jury be thinking? Here is JB coddling and sympathizing with Lee when in his opening statement he stood there and YELLED at the jury that Lee wanted to follow in his dads footsteps and molest Casey. Why would her attorney not be tearing Lee up on the stand? After all, poor whittle Casey was traumatized from all of their abuse and couldn't report her baby had drown.

Lee all but came out and told us.

They had a "come to Jesus" meeting with Baez - all the A's since the Opening Statements were given. Add on top of that - they all saw how badly the DT case was going - she was headed for the needle. They don't want that.

They've agreed to impeach themselves, and lie like rugs on the stand to help her.

In return, Baez backs off the molestation claims.

No way was Caylee a premature baby!

My son, born August 21, was conceived in mid November the previous year.

My daughter, born September 21, was conceived New Year's Eve.... and she was 3 weeks early.

If Caylee was premature, the delivering ob and/or records will resolve this lie.

I'm certain that soon as ICA saw an OB for her pregnancy they immediately did a dating ultrasound. Ultrasound technology can be pretty accurate to determine an estimated due date. However, they are more accurate in the first trimester in determining an EDD.

Bumping my own post. ICA had an ultrasound with Caylee sometime after the family learned of the pregnancy. US can date and give an estimated due date.
