Let's imagine for a minute that some type of sexual relationship occured between ICA and LA. If that did happen, I don't believe that ICA would act, or react like a typical sexual abuse victim. I think she would hang it over the other person's head, constantly, and threaten to spill the beans unless they do this, or that, or don't tell this, or that, etc.

This statement is not meant to insult anyone who has been a victim of sexual abuse within their family.

I just find the whole ICA/LA relationship odd, and, if these incidents did happen, that could be the key.

Why would they not tell LA about the baby...and why would it affect him so?

I am much closer to my brother than I am to any other member of my family, and he didn't abuse me. Maybe Lee threw a big fit questioning why CA didn't have ICA on Birth control, who knows but I don't think it has anything to do with ICA being sexually abused by Lee - I don't believe that happened - just a defense tactic.

I wonder if the dynamics between ICA and LA are along the lines of the relationship of the siblings in the book Flowers in the Attic. I wonder if the emotion we see in court between the two is more about a relationship that can never be accepted and the feeling by LA of the pregnancy being evidence of ICA cheating on him. The family dynamics are so bizarre!

Do you think that's where JB was going when he said "They hid this child like a flower in the attic!" in his OS?

OT: My dad bought bought that book for me when I was about 11 when he just had a big gambling win. Wonder if GA ever splurged on ICA and GA after a big win too.

IMO, he was crying for a lot more than that. It was just the trigger. This is a disaster for all of this family, I feel for him.
I don't feel for CA. Even if she wants to tell the truth, I don't think she knows how. She is so used to her and KC's version of the world, neither one of them know what the truth is. This is all jmo, but I don't think LA has lied about anything, yet. We shall see.

Watch they try and do a plea deal after today for something simple like negligent homicide with time served or a ten year sentence, etc... Not a lawyer so I don't know what they may want to plea to - but my guess they will take the accident route and admit to it and forget the rest of the opening statement. SA must not fail Caylee though imo.

At the time I saw GA looking nonchalant as if Lee breaking down didn't phase him at all & I was kinda shocked at his lack of emotion..I got a quick peek of CA who was holding a tissue to her nose for a quick sec but she didn't look too broken up to me either. :crazy:

CA seems to be looking at him as if to make sure he is doing what he is supposed to do. :maddening:

Not sure what LA did to be excluded - but he sure was "included" in the name of the baby - CAY-"LEE" which has always been quite hinky to me...... JMOO

Also, for that reason, and that reason alone, LA needs to tell the truth ...
