Did anyone else catch that JB said to his witness, "Are you aware that the last time Caylee Marie Anthony was last seen alive...allegedly last seen alive was June 16th?"

LOL Isn't that what he alleged himself in his opening statement???

Watching JP step down for recess, it looks like he might of been a bit humored by JA cross.

I think the defense should tread lightly where stink is concerned.

PLEASE review this forum thoroughly before posting today:

:tos: Here they are!

PLEASE avoid posts that are:

- bashing the defendant's looks or grooming, in words or through visual images

- using derogatory or demeaning terms to refer to players in this case

- snarky to fellow WSers

- otherwise sending the thread off-topic.

Posters who continue to ignore the TOS or the Rules of Etiquette will find themselves on a Time Out.

If you come across a post that violates TOS or the Rules of Etiquette, or that is clearly taking the thread off-topic, the appropriate response is to hit the red triangle "Alert" button, leave a message for our mods, and move on. Please do not quote the offending post or comment upon it in any way. The mods are equipped with brooms and light sabers and will do everything in their power to make sure that WS continues to be the premier true-crime forum on the Web.

Thank you to the many posters who have helped the mods by alerting on questionable posts these last days.

This morning we had allot to discuss and a great deal of vented up frustrations. Unfortunately the steam that some are letting loose is causing TOS and Rules infractions.

We as moderators are working to keep these threads informative, productive and in true WS style.

NO bashing of any player be it in pictures or words. NO name calling or name variations. Zero tolerance. No snark. No off color remarks about any of the players. Every post that is removed is going to be reviewed for Time Outs. Is one outburst worth not being able to participate in the coming days? It doesn't need to be this difficult folks.

If what your are posting sounds like something you heard in Jr. High, it doesn't belong here.

Let's get our emotions under control and move into the afternoon without problems please.

Thanks.

HHJP must feel like he's moderating a spat between 1st graders.

I get that too, moreso towards Ashton in particular. Judge Perry probably wishes he could muzzle him or limit him to one objection every minute (instead of every 10 seconds).

Yes - some of the objections are warrented, but those for leading questions which JA knows full well JB will simply rephrase and get to ask (90% of them) are just annoying, and the jury is probably sick of it as well.

An attorney more experienced than JB would not fall into that habit so frequently, but for the sake of expediency, and to keep himself from looking like a 1st grader who raises his hand and tells on everyone he sees holding a pencil the wrong way...JA should let those go...

I'd like to see Furton and Vass on the stand together debating the issues...

Thank You Nurse. The joking and double entendres are also beginning to be disruptive. Let's get back on target once again please. Being off topic is a TOS violation.

I hope Jeff Ashton is taking his blood pressure medication. If I were him, I would blow a gasket from frustration. At this point, this trial has become a joke. I truly believe somebody should do something to stop it.

A do-over without JB is necessary. What does it take for incompetence to be acted upon??

I think the defense should tread lightly where stink is concerned.

Why am I thinking there was something about JB going in the direction of trash smell would open the door to allow the jury access to smelling the cans?

HHJP came back grinning.

  • #1,098
HHJP has the cutiest smile. He is just smiling away while waiting on jury to come in.

  • #1,099
You can just tell how much HHJP loves his jury. He beams with pride everytime they come in. ♥
