4 infants found dead when landlord cleaned out rental home - Sept 2025 - Ford City PA

She sounds like she lost all grips on reality. Survival mode. Clearly her mental health was impaired situationally by the mess in the house and getting evicted. No excuse for this, but also imagine being in such a state of mind that you kill 3 infants and pretend nothing happened. And be in such a state that you still didn't try to prevent further pregnancies from occurring.

Does she have any other criminal history? It's so crazy. There has to be a larger story here.
Nothing else criminal, at least not in Armstrong County, where she was last residing. There are two landlord/tenant cases, one from 2021 (along with another individual with same last name), and the 2025 case (in her name only), ending in the eviction.

A Google search of her last name and ‘child endangerment’ brings up some interesting & adjacent information.

I hope there is not a bigger story here!

Well, someone was making her pregnant for starters. You cannot get pregnant all alone.

Someone or someones decided to have unprotected sex with her. Where are they?

She had serious financial problems, was obviously severely depressed, maybe other medical issues. Maybe she was desperate for money. There could have been more than one man and no long-term relationship to notice she was pregnant. Although sometimes the men in these cases seem oblivious.

But it was mentioned she had a job(?) If so, wonder what coworkers, or any relatives, noticed.

That's a good question, how could she go through a full term pregnancy and nobody notice? Was she living as a recluse?

Absolutely sickening. As others have mentioned how has no-one not seen her pregnant multiple times and thought it strange there are no babies!

Was she being abused or prevented from seeking medical care from someone else in the house?

I wonder if the infants were girls. She didn’t kill her two boys.

I hope the remaining kids have responsible, supportive family members or friends to now stay with. It’s concerning that JM was able to give birth 3 times and discard newborns, and nothing was discovered or reported until she was evicted.

It is a miracle that the boys are now (hopefully) safe.
They were in extreme danger living with JM.

I think it’s possible the boys were in existence before whatever clear mental health break she had. She seems at least semi functioning on her fb and the look okay.

I wonder if she still has custody of them

Can you please provide an approved source link for the mugshot photo? Thanks!
Allow me to assist.

Thanks. I really appreciate it. I just saw the post. This is the link that I was going to post. :)

I have to wonder if the two boys were by her husband and they then separated/divorced. Then, the other babies were by random individuals??

I think that she probably was overwhelmed and financially strapped. If this is the case, wouldn't they all qualify for Medicaid or some other form of government assisted healthcare where she could get free birth control?

After she found herself pregnant, why not give up the first baby for adoption or place it at a hospital anonymously or some other safe place? You can do that in Pennsylvania. Then, get on birth control.

There are so many resources available for single mothers. Maybe, she was just too overwhelmed or didn't know how to go about seeking out help. Something was clearly wrong. It seems like she must have been pretty isolated for this type of situation to continue to happen.

Pennsylvania landlords must follow a series of steps to evict a tenant. So, she had to have been given ample notice. Why was her home left in such disarray? It seems so strange to me that at the very least you wouldn't take steps to cover your crime??

It's a very sad situation. I wish that we knew more about why she ended up in this situation, why she didn't take birth control, why she murdered the babies instead of placing them in a safe place, etc. Does she have any family members in the area? I wonder who has her boys. If they were not okay, I think that it would have been mentioned in the media.

She's currently in jail being held without bail. Perhaps prior to that, she did have custody.

She may actually still legally have custody, I don’t know that that’s been court ordered yet but obviously I didn’t mean while she was in jail.

Sorry, but death penalty.
Of course it's Pennsylvania and nobody's been executed there in ages, although Death Row is full.
Sometimes the death penalty is too easy for them. Suffering with a life sentence is better.

If she is guilty of murdering 3 infants, I'd say the chances of her retaining custody of her children, or ever regaining it, are exactly zero.

The kids were either missing a lot of school, or not attending at all. JM found guilty of truancy in April 2025.
