Well, now Lisa and Hank, Sr. will be in for the duration of their probation if it works like it does here.

It just might help them. Lessons never learned and all of that. Wonder where they got the money to purchase cocaine with?

I guess they graduated from pills to powder.
Except for Timmy, the entire family is in jail. And Timmy claims he won't return to the area for fear of being arrested.
This is all very sad.

Didn't Flora say real early on that LC and HC were "crackheads"? I kinda remember her sayin' that.

As for the other man busted - maybe LE had a tip on a "lab" and the sting/raid/bust was setp-up for last night and LC and HC were "in the wrong place at the wrong time" - albeit to make a buy. Maybe they already knew this guy previously.

No doubt they are both addicts. BOTH. HC and his whining about how he wants better is just that - whining.

I'm not surprised. And I don't feel sorry for anyof them. They all know they are under a "floodlight of publicity" and yet they still manage to say ef-it I've gotta get this ro that to calm me down - or I really need a hit. Addicts, and (forgive me mods) "stoopid addicts" at that. Did they NOT see that LE was watching them? My Lord, they were already on parole.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE let's not let Haleigh get "lost" in all this and keep on raying: that all LE does is squarely focused on finding her!!!!!

On one of the online radio shows, someone speculated, judging by Lisa's appearance, that she's done meth. Then they kindly describe how meth ages people and makes their teeth fall out, with other gory details. Rather gruesome.

Man, oh, man. Lisa and Hank are in their early 40s, they should be settled down, talking about saving money for their retirement, looking forward to visits with the grandkids, and here they are with ZIP and behind bars. Unbelievable. Two of their three kids in jail and facing prison sentences. What a waste! How can one family let themselves get into such a mess! Just unbelievable.

Man, oh, man. :shakehead: I'm assuming the state of Florida was sponsoring their drug habits with welfare checks. This is so bad.

Yes, she did. Flora said they were crackheads and the family lived "like Gypsies" moving from one place to the next "all the time".

This is O/T - but Aksleuth, the gov't here has seriously talked about making anyone on welfare, unenployment, food stamps, seciton 8, whatever - submit and take random drug tests. Probably for this exact reason. And, of course, its being fought tooth and nail against. But it does make ya wonder now don't it?

I can just hear it, oh Misty I first met your dad in a trailer and he offered me my first hit of meth and it was true luv from there on out. All those times he knocked me upside the head, I totally deserved that and he did it out of love. Ron is a real keeper and I'm so proud your with him, I know you love him and I think it's great you protect him and lie for him, sweet little Haleigh, bless her soul but she's gone now so you should keep standing by your man, nothin you can do about Haleigh now. :banghead:

Of course this is just my thoughts on how a conversation between MC and her mom would go, something along those lines.

Appreciate the info/link--but if it isn't a quote directly attributed to a player, I don't have much faith in his "blogs" as he hasn't been to Satsuma in over a year. Gve us the phone records he promised months ago--give us some facts. SO SICK OF THE COW MANURE. Where the heck is Haleigh. I am disgusted with these adults ( ala Ant) saving their grown kids butts. I will go into a corner now. :banghead:

If you ever feel so moved google "Faces of Meth" it is a horror slide show that should be part of every Jr High curriculum.

The part that I don't get, for all of them is - they know they are being watched, they have to know... Right? They have all conducted themselves like they don't have a care in the world!

Are they acting out of guilt? Or out of refusal to acknowledge LE believes "the key" to a missing child, is their daughter?

Are they flaunting their bad behavior to show LE and everyone they have nothing to hide? Come on let's party like it's January 2009!!

I felt sorry for Sr too - I still think he truly wants the truth about HaLeigh to come out - I believe he is a "Broken man" and I suppose I would be too.

OMG - now we have RC, WBG, HC Jr AND HC Sr ALL locked up together ... oh to be a fly on the wall!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
a couple of other interesting persons may be there also. And with the comings and goings of other arrests, who needs to read a newspaper to see what is happening in the community! (Almost makes me want to get arrested too! LMAO, since I can't actually be a fly ...)

They could have actually been trying, or at least Hank. But if LE wanted them, they were going to get them.

IMO, that they were only charged with "purchase" and not possession makes me very suspicious that they were set up. If you purchase it...you have to have it in your possession. To get them for "purchase' they had to bust them right after the "buy." If the "bust" was legite why would they not charge with every possible charge?

IMO, I would not be surprised if someone offered them some "coke" for a dollar to buy a cup of coffee. Yes, it happens...druggies will "share" drugs with an agreement when you have some pay me back. If LE wanted them behind bars, they would not care if the entrapped them.

IMO, they could get them behind bars on probation violations. But they needed to catch them violating probation. A "set-up" purchase would be a probation violation. The charges they are arrest for do not need to stick to get a probation violation. Even if someone offered them drugs to entrap them, by being on probation they are not allowed to have drugs. So the "purchase" would eventually be dropped but they are in jail for violating their probation terms by "taking" drugs.

IMO, they wanted them behind bars with something they cannot quickly get out. Probation violation does that. They are hoping that Lisa will talk about the first couple days after Haleigh went missing and just maybe Ron's best friend Timmy will accept calls from Mom and/or Dad in jail.

I am in no way saying that they are not addicts or are not doing drugs. Just that this "bust" stinks as LE wanting them behind bars for reasons other than "purchasing" coke.
