Great previous post Elphalba! They did take a lot of things down. I listened to the recording of Brian talking to Gale about this situation--it stunk to high heaven. On his site he even had a message to TES that he was upset that TM wouldn't help them by sharing leads and maps etc. Like you said, if they were truly interested in HELPING they would have just joined the TES search!

It is a shame, I've seen it time and time again. My own son had tons of church's collecting for him we never seen a dime of it in his trust fund. The only money in his trust fund was from me. Someone even came up to my own grandmother trying to collect for my son I am glad she didn't give. Same thing in another state with my cousin and her church. She called to ask my sons balance and was shocked.

It happens to much everywhere.

This news story wasn't one sided, and this is a discussion of a legitimate news story about a probable crime that is/was being investigated in regards of Caylee Anthony. We discuss such things every day on this board and rarely does someone lament that a crime story is one-sided. Now Brian and her have ran off with their tails between their legs, him claiming he is closing the case because people are after him. Anyone else aware of his dealings in the past knows that this is what he does when people call him out on being a fraud (shuts down a case for a while to get the heat off of him). As for Gale: she should have NEVER taken donations through that animal foundation to finance a trip that was not related to what the foundation exists for. That is something she will have to answer to her state and the feds about, if she was given a substantial amount of donations through the foundation. (I think they claim they got around $4000... definitely a substantial amount of monies, for sure.) On top of that, she was stupid to go and refuse a request of documentation on things when she openly sought donations under a IRS charity code. Where she has now shown letters from over 5 years ago on being attached to a charity in NY, she has still yet to show current proof, nor has she shown how that donated money was spent. If you act shifty on the monies, you deserve to be called out and reported on... you simply do not use a missing child case for your own personal gain. And that goes for anyone making money off of Caylee... including her own family...

Don't be fooled by charlatans getting out and doing things. Yes, they went down there, but at the end of the day they were there for personal gains, hence she was always wearing her Body Hunter shirt (a tv show she is trying to get picked up). And when TES was asking for volunteers to help in a legitimate LE enforcement backed search, this group of charlatans stood by and said if they were needed then they would help TES, but not once did they go and sign up to help. That should tell you something...

You know, I have been following this thread very closely. I have been following this "group's" involvement closely from day one as it relates to Caylee's case.

I am not one to revel in people's difficulties, so allow me to say this:

If anyone is content to take advantage of others for your own financial gain, ignoring those people's vulnerability and pain, if you will....

Then you should expect it to have it blow up in your face, and that of your associates, every time. There is a law higher than any of ours in this situation that rules- it is called KARMA. It never misses, this is proof.

I am in total agree feebdawg and have had similar experience. I do not believe anything has been used for personal gain.

That said, everyone is entitled to their opinion and I will not judge them for it. I just don't think all the info is out there.

I can only speak for myself. This has nothing to do with believing in psychics. I have close relations to psychics and I've grown up in an environment and small town that is very famous for it's psychics. It has to do with the particular situation, not whether you believe in them or not.

If we are not discussing belief in psychics, then we are maligning someone's character without proof. I am in no place to judge anyone and feel it is improper to be making accusations that have not been proven. I cannot post why I feel that way because the rules preclude us discussing that site or anything on it and I am trying to stay within the rules.

kw- I respect your opinion, but there is no "at least" about this.. They solicited funds, allegedly illegally, invited themselves to the party so to speak, were down there to promote a show, which would have given them a paycheck.. They got caught.

As I contirbuted to TES I also wanted to make a contribution to them and was told they had enough money for the trip and if another trip was made I could reconsider a contribution at that time.
I do think because I followed that site I have a little more insite as to the events how how it unfolded. As we all know if LE is given a complaint an investigation is opened, if it was such a big deal why did they tell her she could go ahead and go home the next day as planned?
I must admit I don't know exactly what all the comments are about because I am not seeing any links to go with them.

All I know is that I was emailed by someone that they called LE and verified that all charges had been dropped. I do not have the email anymore and I don't remember who it was... I do feel that they searched every day while there and I appreciate anyone who did that. So what I am posting is my own opinion. I am trying to remain within the rules. I respect that they are here for a reason and this is a great site....

Just me- you did not supply a link to your comments, that is ok.
The LE investigation your referring to, was based on the allegation of misuse of a cedit card and the inability of Gale to pay her hotel bill. The investigation of her 501c3 is an altogether different matter. BL told you they were good on donations because as you heard, the producers of their show was pickin it up..
I respect that some will defend these people no matter what. I dont get it, never will, it is all there in "print", but we shall agree to disagree, I will just have money to give to a worthy casuse that is verifed.

I lost respect when "they" started advertising TES was going to Orlando... MONTHS ago. To the point on one of the maps posted "they" typed in "WHEN TES ARRIVES HAVE THEM SEARCH HERE" and there was an arrow pointing to a wooded area. They had in several areas that TES was on their way etc. They were using TES and their good reputation when at the time TES had NOT asked to go there YET. Yes some could say they used their "pyshic ability" HA HA HA BUT TES was used by them so people would find them reputable IMO.

I factually KNOW at that point in the game TES was NOT even contacted yet. TheY used them to their advantage which is NOT FAIR or ethical IMO.

I'll never understand why people defend them, as well... given what I have seen over the last 2 years and at least his actions on many cases where he has been outed as a fraud on his "post" diction dreams. . But he did, he is the one that solicited donations in her name using a tax code and she allowed it, so he is complicit in the situation, as well.
