I keep thinking about something that my Grandmother used to tell me:" Be careful what you wish for, you just might get it".

OJ was acquitted, anything is possible.
But the glove didn't fit! LOL - didn't he go on to write a book - "If I Did It, Here's How".... or something?? O_o

So now investigators have lost both gas station video footage AND recorded over interviews (without backing them up?!)?!

conservation officer couldn’t find the recording of his original interview with RA?

The tip narrative was recorded? That’s good news. Link?

I’ve only got this:

As Richard (Rick) Allen’s attorneys, […]

Rick does not recall if this interaction with the Conservation Officer was tape-recorded but believes that the Conservation Officer scribbled notes on a notepad as Rick spoke to him

I believe it was in the FM, but I'm not sure. It was said the CO thought he probably recorded it, but as of that date, could not find the recording. JMO. Hopefully someone remembers where this was said?

What if the D's claims have merit? I know the general consensus is that they are liars and cannot be trusted, and it's a common tactic for the D to find fault with the investigation, etc. etc. But WHAT IF the investigation and/or evidence had been mishandled? If JG does not give them a hearing on this, I expect more original actions.

Even if RA is guilty and acted alone, the D attorneys are there to protect his rights, and to assure the State followed the law. If the State messed up, it isn't the D's fault. We don't have to like the D, respect the D, or believe the D, but if an unbiased court finds the investigation was faulty, the D did its job. If an unbiased court finds the investigation was not faulty, the D still did its job by putting it all on the record.

This better get addressed appropriately. JMO

Is this correct? Are RA's new charges, 2 more counts of murder and 2 kidnapping, also set to be argued on the 12th, not just the lawyer's contempt charges? You'd think BR would be there for that?

"A Feb. 12 hearing, set to discuss the new charges being leveled against Allen and the prosecution’s attempt to hold Rozzi and Baldwin in contempt of court, remains contested as Allen’s defense team tries to have the hearing pushed back."

This also made me wonder, who assigned him leads? Which leads? Who else did he meet with? I believe he was at a press conference as well back in 2017 up at front facing the crowd as LE discussed the case with media and people. You can confirm this by searching for images from that date in this case on google. Perhaps he had a bigger role in the investigation that I previously imagined.

Yes, we would think. Who knows anymore?

But, this is nothing new.
It was said from early on ( after RA'S arrest) that Dan Dulin could not account for the recorded interview, and also that the gas station recordings were not available. Why is this being treated like it is all new?

Inquiring minds want to know.
In post #274 upthread, girlhasnoname asked what we think the latest motion by D is all about. I offered a thought wherein I wondered if this could be what it was about is all. This was before I'd had a chance to view the official filing.

Has the new motion to dismiss been published?

I apologize for responding to your post specifically.

It was kind of a general question/thought.

It wasn't meant to address your post specifically!

Thanks for the info. Would what the D did be considered indirect to the Delphi case?
Yes, it would be indirect because it didn’t happen directly in front of the judge. Direct contempt would be something she actually witnessed in her presence
