$1000.00 is NOT ALOT of money! HELLO!
It isn't? What do you do for work now?
$1000.00 is NOT ALOT of money! HELLO!
:bump:This thread is for questions about the Adult Entertainment Industry as it relates to this case.
:bump:
Just be careful how you ask the questions.
I think your heart is in the right place LINative13. I get what you're saying. The devil is in the details, as they say. I am also expanding my views on the subject and widening my perception to new, different possibilities. Money was obviously a big motivator for the victims. I think by Moon referring to her former clientele as "scumbags" she is subconsciously trying to downplay her role in the scenario. Let's keep it real, girl!
Moon: Prostitutes are known to deal drugs to their clients. Do you thiunk that one of the girls could have been selling a bag and getin snatched by the drug addict they were selling too?
Perhaps. But $1,000 to those that work an honest job is a lot of cake! Come on now, Justice. Let's be realistic.
I bet our perp set up the weekend type dates that others have mentioned already. Build up the trust and then drop the guillotine. Moon, how much was your going rate for a 3 day weekend session?
Anything is possible LIN13. I don't really know of any girls who have been on the dealer end. They usually tend to be on the addict end of the spectrum, sadly. I don't do any drugs, and I always urged any girls I met to never do drugs with their customers because it instantly puts them at a disadvantage. I cannot stress this enough!! :banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead:
I could be wrong but wouldn't CL be one step above street walking? That is, there are escorts who have regular clientele, the sort that do not participate on sites like UG & LIE, and there are those who cast their nets wide, and there are those who fall somewhere in between. From my understanding high end escorts make a great deal of money, while having very few clients, and their services extend beyond sex. And they do not rely upon sites like CL to do so. If I'm wrong here, please feel free to correct.

To a hard working person who is paid $10.00 and hour that is 100 hours of work. To that person, $1,000 is definitely a lot of money. For a person who makes $4,000 a month or $48,000 a year, $1,000 IS 2.1% of their annual income but it is 25% of one month's income. If in one month that person somehow managed to lose that thousand dollars, then you can be assured that he/she would miss it. If he/she were to lose that much each month, then he/she will have lost $12,000 annually or 1/4 of his/her income. $1,000 means the world to a lot of Americans and even more to people in low paying and back breaking jobs.
