Does Universal have shots from inside the rides? At Disney they shoot you in rides like (for example) Splash Mountain. You buy the pic at the end of the ride. For reasons I'll never understand, some patrons choose to expose themselves to the camera. The photo peeps delete these pics so they can't be viewed or purchased, yet somehow...they end up on-line. We know KC was involved with some outside photo biz within Universal at some point. The peeps she was hanging out with (to whom she still claimed to have a job) said she worked from "home" on the computer doing something with the pics they sent her. Could she have made $$ selling pics of that nature or something similar. I don't think she had steady income, but it would appear that she had occasional $$ that she didn't steal.

In my misguided youth, I lived at home and worked a job that was slightly left of legal. It took my Dad all of 2 months to figure me out and stop me cold. Two years is a loooong time to perpetuate such a flimsy facade. Perhaps they simply didn't WANT to know where she was going or what she was doing??!!

And once again if GA did say that Casey told him they were spending the night with Zanny, then why would she be going to pick Caylee up? She would be going to spend the night too right? Even if she tried to turn it around to say oh well just Caylee was spending the night, then again, why would she go to pick her up?

See that's the thing, she did want to "work". She had an elaborate and detailed work life, complete with bosses, co-workers, special events, vacation (remember she was actually telling people she had 'vacation' she needed to use?), double shifts, etc. This was much more than just a cover story, she clearly enjoyed fantasizing about being this person, and, ultimately, pretending to be this person.

Why get a real job (one that would, no doubt, be bottom of the barrel considering her experience/education) when she could act out her fantasy career? She even had a fantasy 'event planning certificate' from Valencia Community College to go along with her fantasy job!

You're right, as many have mentioned (see the psych thread) she seems to be very immature and stunted in many ways.

However, I disagree with the common sentiment that, "she wouldn't have had to work twice as hard if she had just gotten a real job". It didn't take much for her live out her pretend career. She sent some fake emails occasionally, dressed a bit better when she was leaving the house, and carried around an old ID badge. That doesn't sound hard to me.

Plus, there are no 'real' jobs that she, with her background/education, could get that would include: the ability to work from home, flexible hours (i.e., work whenever she wanted), attending cool events and shows, taking care of VIPs, etc. She was qualified (barely) to ask "do you want fries with that?" and that type of work was unacceptable to her.

Just a thought: Minimum wage in Fl was 6.79 and on Jan 1 went to 7.21 per hour, as a single parent, she would qualify for earned income credit which she could opt to have put in her check weekly instead of waiting for her tax return. If she were to choose to get EIC in her tax return, she would get about 5000 extra in her return (Stepson's mom makes 4.21 per hour plus tips, her tax return last year was just at 7000.00)

There a several good daycares that accept "state assistance" for payment (point in fact, my stepson's mom paid 2.50 per week at the same daycare that I paid 95.00 per week)

If she chose to live away from home, there is (I don't know what it's called anywhere else) section 8 available to help pay rent (stepson's mom pays a whopping 90.00 per month on a 900 a month condo and has her electric paid through another program + food stamps for food).

If she was getting child support (stepson's mom gets 100 per week from DH), it does not count as income to qualify for this help, then that would add to a very doable budget.

Now if her parents continued to let her use the car and pay the insurance on it, there is no reason for her not to be self-supporting.

but with all that paperwork, plus holding down a job, and taking care of Caylee, when would she have time to party & text her friends?!? Priorities, people! :crazy:

Mark Hacking was "going to classes" for like two years and nobody knew, including his wife who saw him every single day.

People tend to believe what people tell them.

All Casey had to tell her family was to always call her on her cell phone at work and they would never know.

Hi Everyone I just posted this on the "Bad Pics" thread in The Parking Lot and thought it might fit into this thread, also. I know there will be ALOT of naysayers, but nobody can escape the fact that this is a serious possibility. It would explain why the rest of the 2000+ pics weren't released, etc. If anything, it will definitely help LE to prove their theories. I ask everyone to please entertain the possibility that not everyone lives in a perfect world with cottage houses, white picket fences, and homemade cooking. There's alot of bad people in this world that look like average, everyday, pretty young women that pose as being good mothers when in fact they just might not be! Thanks bunches!

BINGO ... I've been saying this for awhile now and just realized that somebody else knew of this too! They are also linked to small time web shows in which girls will get paid about $100 or 2 with the promise that once they do enough, they'll make the BIG money! Which of course never happens...unless you're Linda Lovelace! The big thing nowadays is that they pull girls in based on a pilot or airplane kind of program. In other words, they might not make money til they reach the top: they'll start out on the bottom, then they bring in 2 people, then those 2 people will bring in 2 people, and so on...once the one on bottom makes it to the top, that's when they get paid...sometimes they don't make it to the top & never receive their money b/c at that point LE finds out where they are so they have to close shop real quick & skate out...leaving the one's that didn't make it to the top to fend for themselves wondering what the heck happened! The saddest of all is that most of these girls (& some guys) don't even realize that the perps are continuously making money off of them just by the hits to their websites! It's a big huge scam & it sucks to high heaven. I'm SURE LE knows this and that's why ALL of KC's pics weren't released in the doc dumps. I've studied that pic & I truly believe it's KC. I blew up some face shots of the one's from her photobucket. The mole under her left eyebrow (so it would be the right eye of the pic) is in the same spot in all of her pics. Also, I can see the faint mole that was covered up with makeup in the professional yucky pic & it matches KC's. Plus, the noses are the same. She was smiling hard, which makes her cheekbones protrude and her nose scrunch up and seem longer. In the pro pic, her mouth is taut, so that makes her nose lose it's little plumpness at the bottom. It's all in the shading. The eyebrows are the same, too, and you can actually see her real eyebrow shape (without the paint or eyebrow pencil) if you blow up the picture in paintshop. Every single one of those girls on that site (that were shown in separate pics on the front page) were all different. They were competing for best of the day or week, it's promotional for that site in order to lure people in. The turnaround is incredible, generating new girls, etc. These idiots and lowlifes set up in hotels, advertise on Craigs List & the local newspapers, lure girls in for some quick cash...heck, they can even bring their boyfriends to use instead of the one's provided, videotape them or put 'em on a live web cam hookup...and there ya have it. Once the cops catch on, they hurry & pack up, leave shop, can't be traced...b/c they're wealthy with all the ignorant imbeciles in this world that get off on these things, their internet site blows up with tons of hits being generated which in turn turns into cashflow, & they make big money that's sent to an a/c overseas where it's pretty much legal...all the while using ficticious names & info. They have the money to be able to purchase state of the art technology in which their IP address is scrambled or rerouted so many millions of times a second that even the CIA couldn't trace it. The big guns hire little guns to run the show. This is a problem everywhere, not just Orlando, but all over the world. This is just one picture. There isn't a doubt in my mind about this picture being KC. She did this to herself. This is what she chose. As soon as I read GA's statement regarding the pics, I knew what was going on. LE probably won't release them until right before the trial. I don't even know if they will release them under the Sunshine Law, b/c you should need to be 18 in order to view those pics...if they add them to any old doc dump, or the media provides a link to them, they would need to have the same disclaimers. None of the LE agencies in Florida make sure you are 18 in order to view public info, so how could they release X-Rated pictures? KC knows what she did and now her beautiful little baby is dead. It doesn't matter how it happened, b/c it's not something that can be fixed. Caylee is dead b/c of her mother, and I highly suspect it's b/c of KC's inability to live everyday life the way she was supposed to & therefore Caylee is dead b/c of it...maybe even by her mother's own hands imo. Why didn't CA have a work number for KC in case of emergency- cells are not always reliable.
And, why would KC have to drop Caylee off at CA's work if KC had a nanny? Nanny's are very reliable, and they come to your home or live in your home.
Also, why would they think KC could afford a nanny? Nanny's are paid more than KC could make and often get medical benefits, etc.
From what agency did KC hire this nanny?
Instead of instilling answers in KC's head- CA should ask these questions.

IMO, the "nanny" KC dreams up as a title for herself when she doesn't want to play "mommy". It's a better career than babysitter...more sophisticated. She embellishes by adding that Zanny has worked as a nanny for other children even though she only "watches" Caylee some of the time. CA & GA knew she couldn't afford a full time Nanny which is why they cared for Caylee so often.

KC's imaginary job was never a "desk job" and she claimed that the cell was her means of contact....Universal required them to all have a blackjack, but then didn't have the budget...the whole "buy it yourself and we'll reimburse you" line she gave grandma when confronted about stealing grampa's $$

My parents had to cover my first child's medical for 2 yrs as I (a single Mom) made $4 too much for medicaid but the family insurance my company offered would've taken over 1/2 of my paycheck...I'm not exaggerating here! It was pitiful!


KC probably did get bank statements at home, but her parents may not have opened her mail. The w2 is a question mark...

Even with all of the above, I feel that GA and CA turned a blind eye to much of KC's shenanigans. I think the "don't ask, don't tell" routine suited them well and kept them from having an even more of a hostile relationship.

Then, she could have some cash to wave around to keep GA and CA off her back. This wouldn't have lasted long though...

I still don't believe she was seriously into any illegal (or semi-legal) jobs. Did she brush up against people who were? Sure. Did she dabble in and/or perhaps fantasize about being involved in some of the things mentioned in this thread? Probably. But it didn't go beyond that (imo).

What about the pics that the FBI mentioned to GA? Seeing those could change things, but they could also simply be pics she was sending to her various boytoys, etc. She seemed to always have one waiting in the wings, salivating over her. Please refer to bolded areas above: CC's - I definitely agree with you on this one! The pics mentioned made GA sick enough to throw up. They were also not released in the document dumps yet. I question this b/c other pics were released, and Florida has The Sunshine Law - so, something is keeping LE from leaking those 1000+ pictures to the public.

IMO, CA and LA were in the habit of digging in looking for any grains of truth in Casey's utterances and ignoring all the lies. CA seemed truly frustrated when LE, the media and the public would not do so.

IIRC GA stated in a LE interview that he suspected the Universal job was fake. Perhaps he didn't share his suspicion with CA. Perhaps he had learned Casey's lying was a topic to be avoided.

I could not agree more with this post! The raw effort the As put into dissecting ever iota of every interaction with KC, well, it floors me. And it is quite obvious in the FBI recordings, while CA blithely prattles off the litany of lies KC told (and her varied takes on them, including Zani is Rico, or AH, etc.) that she does not fully grasp how exceptionally odd it is, to have to go to such detective-esque lengths to obtain the truth! (My English teacher is cringing from my run on sentences, I am sorry, I love em.) I was utterly shocked at the way that she related to the fibbies how she and her family were going over all the past conversations they had had with KC, looking for clues and hints, as if this is completely normal behavior. Note: I am NOT knocking CA, watching that vid inclined me to believe she was, at that moment, detached from the reality of the situation.) How is it, however, that both LA and GA went along with this? Was 'backtracking' over everything KC said a common occurance once they had discovered her lies? While incarcerated and videotaped, it would be easy to refuse to go into detail, relatively speaking. But in a much less severe situation, such as when she stole from LA, did they confront her or merely do the same thing, going through hints and clues? I hope not.

Further, I am not quite sure where I read this, which doc dump, but IIRC did Casey not rack up ove 30K on CA's credit cards? Since her parents were providing for shelter, food, and all the basic necessities, it would appear to me, at least, that the prior two years worth of expenses had all been placed upon different credit cards, burning them up as she went along, until she was busted by her mom....at which point she began stealing from her Grandpa (or Grandma?) Her supposed paycheck could easily have been eaten up by the cost of a nanny, and gas, which would explain why she never had any money. In actuality, if she was spending her 'work' time at friend's houses, the beach, etc. none of those are costly and she could have used the credit card for her various bar tabs, A&F clothes, and Target sprees. However, IMO, when her Mom did bust her on the credit card debt, I am shocked that did not red flag to the As....i.e., "Okay Casey how did you spend $100 bucks at the mall on Monday when you were supposed to be at work?"
