I think the 'you can't make this stuff up' is a line, it's a way of saying 'this is crazy talk' .. just a bit of slang, not meant to be taken literally![]()
I think she was joking.

It's a joke picture from the way she described it so no. And that's why Nurmi kept it out.
She admits to logging into his email so why wouldn't she have sent pictures from his account to hers, then she responded.
And then saved it all. Another thing, he was not that computer tech savy, and I doubt he'd go back through "sent" texts and if he did, that's why he wrote the email that she is the worst thing that every happened to him.
I think he discovered all this stuff she faked and was going to black mail him with it all to embarrass him. He was furious.
I feel pretty certain it was because he discovered she broke into his accounts and typed things from his account to hers. We know she wrote fake letters to herself from a man or two, so she thought this was clever, write from him to her.
half that crap I believe she wrote it.
Hi myvice,
There is no such thing as "getting help" for a sociopathic or borderline child. I had such a child and took him to Stanford Univeristy to the top child psychiatrist and this is the help he gave me: Try to have a stable home without a lot of chaos. Perhaps you should remarry. You've done well so far, all things considered, because I think he will be in an institution before he is ten (he was six).
I could go on and tell you of other psychiatric visits, like why is he so obsessed with movies? why is he so obsessive? why does he talk to himself like he is two people?
THERE IS NOTHING THEY CAN DO!
They can help you as the parent to manage the behavior and your own emotions, but that's it. The idea that there is a cure for everything is a product of a society that wants to fix things rather than accept that some things must just be lived with.
IMO as another mother with a violent child, Sandy Arias is just demonstrating that she is a good mother. she is sending a message that says, "Look, we are regular, normal people and this monster that we raised, well, we remember her as a baby and she was sweet. She had a great smile and ws so smart. We still love her."
My experience raising a sociopath is a horror story of cold-blooded attacks on his siblings, of rape and a complete unconcern regarding the welfare of anyone else. Imagine how well you sleep raising a houseful of little kids with a teenager like this. He ended up in a school for deviants followed by prison and then an early death.
Jody's behavior in my book is excused. She is a victim of Jodi Arias, just like the Alexander family. She abused her mother ALL HER LIFE and all her mother wanted was a normal relationship. She was baffled by the mood swings and didn't know how to handle it, BUT IT WOULDN"T HAVE MATTERED.
All she could do was protect other people. I did that fairly well although I failed to protect younger children from rape because I couldn't believe that could happen in our family. As a mother, you cannot, simply cannot believe that the beautiful rosy cheeked baby that you saw as perfect is, in fact, a conscienceless murderer.
Sandy Arias suffers from PTSD and is doing the only thing she can do - pretend to believe her daughter was abused. Think about her reaction when she first heard that Jodi was there. She told Detective Flores that she asked her if she had been to Arizona. SHE KNEW THEN THAT HER DAUGHTER WAS CAPABLE OF THIS.
If they came to me and said any such thing about any of my daughters, I would say, "Oh you are barking up the wrong tree, mister. My daughter? Are you KIDDING ME? She WOULD NEVER be involved in a murder! Sweet Lord you must be struggling hard for a suspect!!!" That's a normal reaction, not "Just a minute and I'll ask her."
On the other hand, there was a time when I called the police regarding my son and told them I thought he possibly had murdered someone because of a conversation I heard.......
Beat you like a rented mule.... That one always bothered us because we love animals. And my parents would never do that, but the threat sure hung in the air! :floorlaugh:
Right. It wasn't Josh Powell. The guy I'm thinking about (that sounds exactly like JA) killed his wife in his house when she dropped off their kids. Their little boy drew a picture of his dad carrying a black bag. He told the grandmother his mom was in the bag. He was eventually found guilty and took the police to the site where he'd buried her - in a black bag.
The way he speaks in his interviews sounded just like JA in hers. So creepy.
She took a giant swipe at the Mormon church by saying "I never felt suicidal until after I joined the church...I thought that was odd"
This was immediately after she claimed she never has been suicidal but just wrote that she didn't want to live.
:banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead:
Bet the jail commissary doesn't carry teeth bleaching kits either.
Are you kidding? You seem to be under the impression this is a real picture and I'm wondering why? If this were real Nurmi would have used it in a New York minute just like he tried to convince the jury the youtube vid Travis was watching was porn. He's not above this. Jodi is only saying that to make us think there was helpful evidence kept out and that's why we'll never see it when the real reason is because this evidence doesnt exist.

Exactly. If you go back and look at all her smiling pictures especially some from the PPL events, you can see that her teeth have been the same for many years although she did definitely either bleach them herself or have them done by a dentist.
Just another rather expensive "cosmetic procedure" that she seemed to somehow find the money for it seems. For someone who was apparently broke all the time, she sure seemed to spend a lot of money on multiple "cosmetic procedures" (not to mention the strawberry fraps).
MOO
My point is that it's being claimed here on this thread that "you can't make this stuff up". Which is ridiculous, as it can be and probably is.

True, but perhaps there's more to it than Jodi is letting on. Something that even scared Nurmi away.
I think she was joking.
Ok, it redeemed itself... "Jodi" admits she lied about Travis hitting her.
Neesaki, the "you can't make this stuff up," is simply a way of expressing incredulity at the unbelievable gall of Ms. Arias and her seemingly limitless capacity for uttering the most incredible things. It is just a verbal way of rendering a picture of myself with my jaw hanging down in disbelief. We were all sharing that collective moment of "Can you believe she just said that?" as it happened. That was the spirit of the moment within which this statement was frequently repeated by many here, largely because it was almost impossible to imagine JA could truly have the gall to utter something so ridiculous.

She gotfor $300 that's not expensive for a boob job. Maybe she had a coupon?
