Let's not lose focus, fellow Sleuthers.....I did some research (it's called "Google") today on what happens when an inmate at Maricopa County is on "Suicide Protocol / Watch". I've posted before about JA's testimony why she so-called lied to the reporter on Inside Edition why she said "No Jury Will Ever Convict Me Because I am Innocent". She tried to say the reason she didn't tell the reporter that she wanted to kill herself was because there was a guard about 5 feet behind her and that if her heard her say that, she would be stripped down and put in a padded cell.
We know she knows the "system"...It is true according to the MCO website. Inmates that are put under Suicide Watch are placed in a "safe cell" where they are stripped of clothing and put in a padded cell. I did find photos of such a cell today but won't put it here because there is a dead person laying there on a white pad with a "drain hole" in the middle of the room.

Snippet:
"Central Intake incorporates a fully functional medical clinic located within it. Doctors, nurses and psychiatric counselors offer a variety of medical needs for inmates processing throughout the initial booking process.
With the necessity to control large numbers of both male and female inmates with various psychological, institutional and behavioral issues, Central Intake is equipped with tools which enable the staff to maintain order. There are 23 holding tanks for the majority of inmates; this is referred to as general population. There are 17 isolation cells for inmates who may need to be isolated because of the nature of their charges, for their own safety, for the safety of MCSO officers, or for medical reasons. Additionally Central Intake has 10 safe cells for inmates with severe psychological issues and are deemed to be suicidal or
homicidal. The safe cells are completely padded and offer no fixtures which an inmate can harm themselves or anyone else with."
